Panner , garlic , red chilli chutney # good food good mood 37

Hello foodies!

Welcome to my blog , i am so glad that you are here again. Today i would like to share a Rajasthan (india) special recipe which tastes good with chapti and rice.

if you are bored with daily normal Curry then this chutney is the best option.
In Rajasthan most of time only chapati and curry are eaten. So , in Rajasthan this chutney is so famous. I also love to have it.

Chutney is made by dried chilli, garlic, tomato , onion and spices. This is spicy in taste which goes perfect with chapati and rice.

Let's, enjoy the recipe ;

Ingredients ✅

Dried red chilli 8-10
Garlic cloves 12-15
Onion 1
Tomato 2-3
Oil 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Panner 1/2 - 1 bowl

Method ✅

Step 1 :

First take the red chilli and soak it for 4-5 hours.

If you want to make it in less time than soak in the hot water for 2 hours.

Step 2 :

Now get ready all ingredients.

First make grind the onion and garlic together.
Than grind tomato and dried chilli together. You can also grind tomato and red chilli separately.

Take panner and cut in the small pieces.

Step 3 :

Now take a kadai and put oil in it. Heat the oil and add cumin seeds and hing in it. When seeds start to crackle add onion and garlic paste in it.

Cook it for 3-4 minutes on the medium flame.

Step 4 :

Now add tomato and red chilli puree in it.

Cook for 2 minutes and add salt according to taste. Than again cook for 5-7 minutes till oil starts to separate. Stir occasionally.

Step 5 :

When oil start to separate add panner pieces in it. This is also optional. You you want to use this chutney for 7-10 days than you can skip to add paneer. Than you can use it as a side dish. But after adding panner you can serve it with chapti...there is no need to another curry. So this is up to you.

That day i make it to replace the curry so i add lots of paneer in it.

Mix the panner well and cook for 1 minute.

Your panner red chilli chutney is ready to enjoy.

Pro tip : If your tomato is not so red than add a small piece of beatroot in it. Beatroot gives nice colour to the chutney and make it more appealing.
You can also add lemon juice at the end. Use good amount of oil and cook it well , you can store it for 7 days.

So, this is my entry for the #hivetopchef organised by @qurator team. Thank you so much 😊.

Thank you so much everyone for your time, support and love 🤍✨
