Rice porridge is one of the alteenative foods favored by many people in Indonesia. The existence of rice porridge has been a round for a long time from China and then spread in various Countries.
Rice porridge is much prefered because of its smooth skope and easily digested by mouth. There are many types of porridge in Indonesia,from the basic ingredient for making porridge, and the majority of porridge traders are sold on the side of the road with carts.
I tried to buy rice porridge on the road side in the City of Sukabumi, West Java. This porridge is one of the many buyers, they sell 6 am to noon, the price of one serving of porridge is IDR 17.000,- and half a portion the price is IDR 12.000,- or less than one dollar.
Rice porridge is made with a mixture of spices and chicken stock so that it tastes delicious an savory. Bise side the porridge seller there is a Cakwe or fried bread seller suitable for the topping.
The way to serve rice porridge is,
- First step is to put the porridge in bowl.
- Second step, above the porridge is to give is soy sauce, spicy seasoning,this seasoning taste good, then add the cooked chicken cooked and sliced into small pieces.
- Step three, add mustaro greens,green onions,and add fried cakwe,dry creackers,sweet soy sauce and chili sauce are also provided for those who like spicy.
