‘Dill’leaves which are also called as ‘Soya Saag’ in india, is the one of most awaited winter veggie in India that we eagerly wait the entire year to consume. Even soya saag us various name in different stage of India.

Dill leaves is full of iron,protein, fibre and lipids which helps in digestion, improve appetites, help in urine formation and many more.

Today in this i would like share dill leaves of my kitchen Garden,in my earlier post i have show many fruits and vegetables in my kitchen garden. In the corner of my garden there was dill leaves container too,dill leaves took long time to germinate, so you have to be patience if you have dill leaves in your garden, so finally my dill leaves is ready to pluck and make in your kitchen. Pluck fresh vegetables from garden and preparing is the most joyful moment for me

See, i got a big bunch of Dill leaves which is enough for my family, happiness is cooking something from kitchen Garden. I would like to share my experience of making a vegetable from my own garden.


So i would like to share Dill leaves recipe with step by step photos,is an easy,simple, fragrant, one-pot sauteed dish of dill leaves with potatoes made with up minimal ingredients.The addition of potatoes makes the dish more tempting and filling.The recipe of soya saag 'm sharing is simplest and healthiest recipe i'm sure you would like it.

Ingredients

• One teaspoon of Mustard Oil.
• One tblspn of cumins seeds.
• pich of asafoetida.
• Red chillies.
• Salt to taste.
• Four medium size potatoes
• A bunch of dill leaves


How to make Dill Leaves

  1. Take a bunch of dill leaves. Remove the dill leaves from the stems,chopped the dill leaves into small pieces.

  1. Peel off the potatoes and chopped into smaller cubes so it will be easily cooked.

  1. Rinse dill leaves with potatoes thoroughly in water to removes the dirts. Drain all the water with the strainer.

  1. Now Take kadhai (pan) heat the mustard oil for 2 mins still it changes it colour, as in picture.

  1. Now add cumins seeds, asafoetida and red chillies. Due to steam photos are blurr.

  1. Add dill leaves and potatoes into it and sprinkle salt into it and mix it put it on low flame, it will cook in stream.

  1. cover the pan/kadai with led, check in between and stir every time.

  1. dill leaves will changes it colour, cook it potatoes get soften.

Tip – I recommend adding less salt initially,The dill leaves wilt and shrinks in size after cooking, add after if needed.

  1. your dill leaves is ready to eat,serve it with roti/ parathi.

many of you can add turmeric or garlic in it but i like as simple as i cooked.
