Almond, Peanut and Sesame Cookies - Check out the recipe I did earlier today!

After yesterday's Ghriba El Bahla recipe that I made and shared, today I made some more varieties of cookies...

It is good to make a small stock of home made cookies and always have some on hand - Well stored in an airtight container!

So today I will show you how I made cookies with a lot of nuts...just imagine the taste!!!

Almond, Peanut and Sesame Cookies!

Below are the ingredients I used earlier to make mine!

  • Half Cup of Grilled Sesame Seeds
  • Half Cup of Grilled Peanuts
  • 1 Cup of Fried Crushed Almonds
  • 250gms Butter
  • 1 Small Packet of Vanilla Sugar
  • Half Cup of Icing Sugar
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 7.5gms of Baking Powder
  • Flour - Depends on the texture!

The Steps...

Very easy to proceed...I simply mixed all the above ingredients, except the flour which we will add later on...

You can softened the butter before mixing.

After that it was well mixed, I slowly added flour in...

Until I got a smooth texture...you must be able to give the dough a form and it must not break...

Give them the forms you wish and bake them!

I made different forms and put them to bake at 180 Degrees...until they are nicely golden brown...

After the baking time, I let them cool down for 10 minutes...

Sprinkle Icing Sugar...

Cover them with fine icing sugar and they are ready to be enjoyed!

I then put them all in a nice air tight container for them to stay long!

So now I have 2 different varieties of cookies in stock....the next few days we will be munching on them for breakfast and tea time!

Yesterday's ones!

And do you bake your own cookies or do you buy them!?

Ps. Homemade are best btw!

Thanks for reading and supporting my blog!
Wish you a great day/evening ahead!
