GREETINGS COMMUNITY
Today I have the pleasure of joining this #natural Medicine community and since I was a child I have been very motivated by plants, whether ornamental or medicinal.

Now I want to share with you this small piece of my garden, which I dedicated to planting oregano, and this plant has thousands of medicinal properties, so I advise you to make a space and plant it or in a pot if not have a yard.

Every afternoon I dedicate time to water them and remove the bad weeds and thus maintain what has been achieved, although it is obtained and reproduced in a very simple way, it is not necessary to plant the root, with the trunk, it can be planted .
Oregano is an excellent condiment to season any type of meat, broths, soups and even provides an exquisite flavor to stews of beans, peas, lentils, chickpeas and other cereals. As an aromatic, seasoning and culinary plant, Cuban or French oregano has multiple applications in traditional and modern cuisine. In traditional medicine, the decoction of fresh leaves is used in respiratory conditions as a bronchodilator and in common colds, as a digestive.
It is very easy to obtain an oregano decoction.
First we wash the leaves well, since they always have a lot of dirt between their leaves.

Then it is boiled in water until it reaches the boiling point.

It is then strained and sweetened with honey.
Oregano contains vitamins A, C E and K, as well as fiber, folate, iron, magnesium, vitamin B6, calcium and potassium. Additionally, oregano, which is sometimes called “marjoram,” contains powerful phytochemicals that offer potential health benefits.
Oregano has a large number of properties that can be of great help to improve many aspects of the body, among which its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties stand out.
It is also used to treat fevers, vomiting, diarrhea, jaundice and skin problems. Traditional Austrian medicine uses it in the form of a tea to treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract and nervous system, or externally as an ointment. Hippocrates used it as an antiseptic, and to cure respiratory and stomach ailments. It was recommended to chew the leaves to relieve rheumatic, gum and tooth pain, indigestion and cough.

I really like to drink it with coffee and it is very easy to prepare, you just have to wash it well, chop it into small pieces and put it in the coffee cup and pour the hot coffee over the oregano pieces and I drink it very hot in the morning, since then I remain decongested and without stomach pains, since from early on I am purifying the lungs and cleaning the digestive system.

My daughter prefers to add a few drops of lemon and this way she keeps her allergy under control throughout the day.
We no longer consume drugs, because they are very aggressive for the stomach and liver, very important organs that we have to take care of and only then can we take care of our body.
I invite you every morning to drink an oregano decoction or with coffee, as I like it and you will see in a short time how your health improves, and your body will thank you and the fact is that oregano is like a magical plant that nature gave us. to heal our ailments
