It is impossible to carry a camera with you at all times and everywhere. But the smartphone is always at hand now. Even if you go to the bank or to a cafe for lunch, the gadget is always there.
Based on this, the smartphone allows you to react to the surrounding reality as quickly and as often as possible.
But never once did I want to present pictures from a smartphone as a reflection of my inner world.
I want to figure this out.
Maybe because I'm taking better photos with better equipment and I don't want to mix?
And I take so many pictures on a DSLR that it doesn't make sense to publish smartphotos.
Then why am I still shooting on my smartphone?
Most likely, they are used as an addition to the diary and blog diary.
These small image enhancers in memory complement the picture of sensations from a particular period of life.
But it is smartphone photos that you don't want to publish on popular social networks that you want to print out 10x15 and insert into an album, like good old film photos.
They are like that, more personal or something, not for show, for themselves.
Anyway, each picture has its own story, just like the "big" pictures.
These are the kind of images that you want to share with someone personally or develop a global story from them later for everyone.
These are such pieces of reality, fragments of life, small puzzles of a big story.
I will not hide that some photos from a smartphone cause more emotions and warmth than professional high-quality pictures from a DSLR.
Maybe because the attitude towards them is so simple, not serious, without reference to something, without the thought that someone will see it.
Maybe I should learn how to shoot with a large camera as well?
I have already cleared myself of many prejudices and stereotypes, discarded many bindings, but some still remain.
I'm still attached to someone else's opinion, what people will think, I have to keep the quality bar and only raise it, I can't shoot or show dirt and blackness.
On my smartphone, I can take pictures of absolutely everything that is within the law without any thought...and that's because I don't show it to anyone.
