It was a training trip. I acted as a guide and teacher. In general, I was showing my eldest son what dugouts are and how to photograph them.
I was here a long time ago and captured these dugouts in the spring of 2023. It was one of the very first trips where I began to pay attention to the strong atmosphere of such places.
These triangular cellars are convenient because they are located nearby, it is convenient to walk among them and they look relatively aesthetically pleasing.
There are many places much closer, but it is very inconvenient to walk there.
If another stranger had asked me to show him the dugouts and teach him how to photograph them, I would have refused.
Dugouts are for me a personal inner world that I can open only to people closest in kind or spirit.
You can open the map and go take pictures of them as much as you want and anywhere on your own, but without me.
I am not a guide to vegetable storage facilities, but to that world, to that subtle plane of sensations and mysticism...
...Well, a couple of photos from the bridge over the Shogras reservoir in Nepotyagovo.
There is a lot of water here this year.
Last year, at this time, the reservoir was empty.
