Thai dessert: young coconut sago with coconut milk.

Hello everyone Today is the weekend, which is my day off on Sunday. I work 6 days a week and have 1 day off on Sunday. Today I will take everyone to make a dessert called sago. Has everyone ever eaten it? Sago in coconut milk with young coconut. Let's see how to make it.

This morning I went to a wholesale store, which sells in large quantities. I bought sago pearls in a green bag like this. There are 2 colors: green and white. I chose the green one. It costs 15 baht per bag. Today I will make sago dessert in coconut milk with young coconut for my husband and son to eat. When I got the sago, I brought it home to prepare to make dessert.

Start by boiling water. The water must be boiling before adding the sago pearls. If the water is not boiling, adding the sago pearls will not cook them. When the water boils, pour the sago pearls in the bag into the pot. I only used half a bag because when the sago pearls bloom, the pot will fill up. So, I only put half a bag. I will save the other half for next time. When I poured the sago pearls into the pot, I used a spatula to stir. I had to stir all the time because if I didn’t stir all the time, the bottom of the pot would not burn. The dessert would smell burnt and not taste good. Stir until the pearls were no longer white. They were all green. It took quite a while. When the water was dry, I added water. I kept stirring. But the heat we used had to be low. If we turned the heat high, the bottom of the pot would not burn and the dessert would smell burnt. It didn’t look good and wasn’t tasty. Stir continuously. I stirred for about half an hour. The sago pearls started to bloom fully. I tried to taste them to see if they were cooked. When the sago pearls I tasted were cooked, I added sugar. I used brown sugar. I didn’t put in a lot and added a little salt. It would taste sweet and a little salty. How is it? Does my sago look good? It’s not done yet. Next, let’s make coconut milk.

Our coconut milk comes from my grandmother scraping coconuts and squeezing them into coconut milk and storing them in the freezer. I then use it to make desserts. My grandmother scrapes coconuts and uses the coconut water to make coconut milk. The coconut milk is a creamy white color and looks very delicious. We boil the coconut milk and add a little salt to make it a little salty because when we pour it on the sago dessert, it is very delicious.

Pick coconuts.

When I finished, I let my husband pick a coconut from the tree in front of the house. When my husband finished picking the coconut, he told me the coconut and I took out a spoon to scoop out the coconut. Does it look delicious? When the coconut was done, I cut the coconut into small pieces to sprinkle on top of my sago dessert. When I finished, I scooped the sago out of the pot, put the young coconut, and added coconut milk. How is it? Does it look delicious? Everyone, this is a Thai dessert. It's a delicious, inexpensive dessert that can be eaten by the whole family. I also shared the dessert with my younger sister to give to my grandmother who grated the coconut for me to make dessert. My house in the countryside, we share everything. The neighbors are the same. Whenever they make something, they will share it with me because I like to share with everyone. Sharing is a good thing. How is it, everyone? Does my dessert look delicious? Has anyone ever eaten it? Sago with coconut milk and young coconut is a very delicious Thai dessert. I really want everyone to taste the dessert that I make. This is my life on vacation. I am happy every time I make dessert. I like to make desserts that are traditional Thai desserts. I hope everyone likes my desserts. Thank you.
I would like to thank everyone who has always supported me.
