The Beauty of Two Images of Insect Species.

Hello Beloved CCH Community Friends, How are you all? Hopefully always in good health. Today I am back among you to share the results of portraits of two interesting insect species.

I deliberately immortalized these two types of insects for the beloved CCH community. You can all see the true form of this species through several pictures that I uploaded in their respective album sections.

I took photos of these two species in their natural habitat, so we can see their lives firsthand. The photos I upload to this community show very interesting details of each species, from body structure to color patterns.

Piezodorus lituratus , or also known as the gorse shield insect, is a member of the Pentatomidae family. This insect has a distinctive shield shape, and is often found in areas where gorse grows. Its color and body pattern provide effective camouflage protection in its natural habitat.

Likewise with the shield it has, which functions as protection from predators. These shield insects are generally found in areas where gorse (Ulex europaeus) grows, a type of thorny plant that is often found in grasslands and open fields.

while the second species that I photographed comes from the genus Cylindromyia which is included in the Tachinidae family. This genus includes various species of flies known for their role as natural parasites that control pest populations.

Cylindromyia has a long, slender body, with wings that are transparent and often decorated with lines or spots. Body color usually varies from gray to black with some parts colored red or orange.

Flies from the genus Cylindromyia are obligate parasites on other insects, especially caterpillars and insect larvae. They lay eggs in their host's body, and the larvae will develop by eating the host. This role is critical in controlling pest populations, making Cylindromyia an important ally for farmers and gardeners in maintaining plant health.

By sharing these findings, I hope to increase our awareness and appreciation of the biodiversity around us. Let's protect and preserve this natural beauty by documenting and studying further the small creatures that often escape our attention.

Friends, I know the names of these two species from Wikipedia . The articles I write are also based on information from Wikipedia . Hopefully everyone is interested in the two insect species that I managed to photograph. Please see the picture album I uploaded to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each species.
