Today I was walking around waiting for the muse of inspiration, which I really hope since Monday to resume my blog and share experiences or anecdotes, I was surprised to see my notification bell active. Once again there were these beautiful colleagues @brujita18 and @annafenix with their great initiatives, enlightening my thoughts and the flow of my words to share memories and experiences with everyone in the Mundo Hispano community.
Hoy dando vuelta esperando la musa de inspiración, que realmente espero desde el día lunes para retomar mi blog y compartir experiencias o anécdotas, me sorprendió ver mi campanita de notificaciones activa. Nuevamente estaban estas hermosas compañeras @brujita18 y @annafenix con sus grandiosas iniciativas iluminándome un poco los pensamientos y el brotar de mis palabras para hacerles llegar recuerdos y experiencias a todos en la comunidad de Mundo Hispano.
I am from the centennials generation, where I grew up with technology, such as phones, computers and many console games, where you devoured stories for hours on end in just the 4 walls of your room. Not only that, but there was also that whole world of Japanese animated fantasy that invaded every home, such as Dragon Ball and Zodiac Knights.
Soy de la generación centennials, donde crecí con la tecnología, como teléfonos, computadoras y muchos juegos de consola, donde devorabas historias de horas continuas en tan solo las 4 paredes de tu habitación. No solo con eso también estaban todo ese mundo de fantasía animada japonesa que invadió todos los hogares, como lo era Dragon Ball y Caballeros del Zodiaco.
I remember those words that scared me and I thought totally possible, “Don't look so close and don't spend too much time on the TV. Because you will go blind.” Totally believable and Innocent of me. I really wanted to continue my game like Zelda and then watch Dragon Ball, but I also didn't want to go blind HAHAHAHA.
Recuerdo esas palabras que me asustaban y creía totalmente posible, “No veas tan de cerca ni pases mucho tiempo en el TV. Porque quedaras ciego.” Totalmente creíble e Inocente de mi parte. Yo con muchas ganas de continuar mi juego como lo era Zelda y Luego ver Dragon Ball, Pero tampoco quería quedarme Ciego HAHAHA.
Maybe it is not a tradition or custom, but it became a rule for many children where they played with our innocence to enforce a rule that, after all, was to keep our care. And the most ironic thing about life is that nowadays I work more than 8 hours a day glued to the computer and when I get home I either play on the console or watch series and I still haven't lost my eyesight. But I do keep the tradition and as a rule for my children.
Tal vez no sea una tradición o costumbre, pero si se volvió una regla para muchos niños donde jugaban con nuestra inocencia para hacer cumplir una regla que, al fin y al cabo, era para mantener nuestro cuidado. Y lo más irónico de la vida es que en la actualidad trabajo mas de 8 horas al día pegado al computador y al llegar a casa o juego en la consola o veo series y aún no he perdido la vista. Pero si mantengo la tradición y como regla para mis hijos.
I hope you like it and that you identify with this story that is still fulfilled in homes, and it makes you smile because you remember the scolding of parents for being too many hours glued to the TV. I say goodbye with hugs and blessings.
