Uno de los entornos de escritorio con el cual me siento más cómodo es Gnome, criticado por algunos pero amado por muchos. Simplicidad y elegancia, esa sería la descripción que yo le doy, su tema oscuro, para mi, es uno de los mejores acabados de todos los escritorios del ecosistema GNU/Linux.
Lo cierto es que este nuevo lanzamiento de Gnome tiene sus errores, por lo menos en ArchLinux, el explorador de archivos tiene sus problemas de estabilidad, algunos pestañeos en el escritorio y otros bugs menores. Pudiera culpar a wayland, que también algunas aplicaciones fallan en esta sesión, en x11 lamentablemente Gnome 47 tiene sus bugs. Existe la posibilidad que tenga problemas de compatibilidad con la gráfica Nvidia, seguiré investigando para saber a que se debe todo esto.
Aún con los bugs, se puede trabajar, yo espero que estas correcciones lleguen pronto ya poder tener un Gnome más pulido y estable, ya que es lo que siempre nos tiene acostumbrado este entorno de escritorio. Por ahora seguiré usando la sesión con x11 como venía desde versiones anterior, ya que faltan mucho para que sea estable con GPUs Nvidia y también muchas aplicaciones son incompatibles con wayland, unas de ellas ( algo que no me había dado cuenta) es Visual Studio Code, tiene varios errores cuando la ejecutamos con wayland.
Algunas aplicaciones instaladas para el uso diario son los drivers para la impresora epson, OnlyOffice, Visual Studio Code, la terminal BlackBox en sustitución de Console, OBS Studio, Celluloid y Kdenlive.

One of the desktop environments I feel most comfortable with is Gnome, criticized by some but loved by many. Simplicity and elegance, that would be the description I give it, its dark theme, for me, is one of the best finishes of all the desktops in the GNU/Linux ecosystem.
The truth is that this new release of Gnome has its errors, at least in ArchLinux, the file explorer has its stability problems, some flickering on the desktop and other minor bugs. I could blame wayland, as some applications also fail in this session, in x11 unfortunately Gnome 47 has its bugs. There is a possibility that there are compatibility issues with Nvidia graphics, I will continue investigating to find out what all this is due to.
Even with the bugs, it is possible to work, I hope that these corrections arrive soon and to be able to have a more polished and stable Gnome, since this is what we have always been accustomed to with this desktop environment.
