the post is covering a minimal budget dCrops gameplay while getting most rewards you can.
Main goal is to solve quest(win items) & accumulate dCrop token in order to access 20k dCrop token holder status or trade it for more currency/items.
Let’s do it.
Each season prioritize lowest cost seeds with lowest number as a quest entry. Be prepared to spend dCrop token in order to properly setup your quest. Ideally you would want to start with this on day one of the each new season.
In the example above you can see how it was set up to feature lowest cost seeds, besides beetroot which is not necessary for this to work. You just have to persist in quest set up.
To solve a quest I needed:
Plant: 6 Carrot ~4.8 Hive, 3 Pumpkins ~2.4 Hive, 4 Garlic~ 2.4 Hive, 1 Beetroot~ 6 Hive . 15.6 Hive ~Season Average. Total 62.4
Land: 14 land plots ~40 Hive on the day of this writing. Also, the Land NFT’S are one time investment because they are usable in all four seasons.
With 102.4 Hive you are all set for questing. You still require some dCrop in order to properly set up the quest.
Instead of Beetroot you’d choose something more affordable if you are cutting the budget even lower.
Getting Average Farmland is most affordable, while Fertile Land provides more than a double Bonus Crop chance for a bit larger investment, which is worth getting in my opinion.
Now we still require some dCrop in order to set up quest as it costs 10 tokens to do so, per single quest reroll. Ideally this takes you only a few rerolls to do so. I think it is safe to assume thousand dCrop tokens should be enough to get anyone started, which again is around 4 hive on a day of this writing.

So for 106.4 hive you are all set up for questing all seasons. Considering the set up is featuring an epic crop per season I’d say we could further reduce the gameplay cost to around 80 Hive in total.
From this point you are golden
Each 14 days seasons, as soon you solve the quest, you would be awarded with 12 item chest which often contains tradable materials which you can trade or hold for the upcoming Beta expansion. Mystery seeds & fertilizers are great addition too. Depending on your harvest luck which translates to crop shares you would be getting more dCrop than what you invested into quest set up.
Let’s say you get 500 dCrop for ladderboard rank & one cheapest material reward item - it costs around 4 Hive (cheapest “Stone” material) on the market.
This translates to a nice 6 hive a season.
I would aim for 20k dCrop club to receive that holding reward. Gather 3* crops. Trade on the https://dcrops.com/market
