A little about myself - Don't get too excited yet :)

Quick before we start, I'm glad you're here and I'm really delighted to have you read about me, but just as the saying goes

Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Whatever you find out here, stays here 😂.

So some few years and two decades ago, to adults decided ohhh lets have fun and enjoy ourselves while we can, well I guess they really did, because months later I came out crying like I was forced out my some earth based power.

As much as I didn't want to, I had no option but stay and live the not so rosy but good life which I have now. I'm Odunayo but you can simply call me Ay, that's what I get called most of the time so I just stuck with the nick. That should be like the basic introduction yeah? meanwhile I do want to know your name too so kindly tell me in the comment section.

Growing up wasn't as much fun as I expected after being born in my great grand fathers house somewhere in Ekiti state, I remember visiting the place in 2019 and I went like woah I wasn't born behind those little doors was I??
Grandpa didn't even bother listen to me, man continued the tour like He didn't just hear me say a word. So yeah most of my childhood after birth was in Nyanya, the sub urban residential area of Abuja the Capital of Nigeria, and unlike other kids I didn't get enough outdoor play time.

Grew up with two playmates and friends, my elder and younger sisters who unlike me loved it indoors, most times I would sit close to the window and watch other kids play around, push abandoned bicycle tires around the neighborhood, while I watched my sister feed her teddy bear. Who tf!!! does that??? Sometimes she would go as far as dressing it up and carrying it around like a baby 😣😣.

Picture of a random child caring for a teddy bear.

PS: That's not my sister, just a young chap taking care of her teddy bear, but you get the picture yeah??

It usually got me pissed a couple of times, majorly because I couldn't go out to play with other kids because they were busy tending to the damn teddys all day, and the way we usually did it was everyone goes out together or no one does, that way we don't get to leave one person behind to get hurt. (My kids would definitely follow that strategy), it helps a lot and makes parenting while at work easier because you know your kids will always stick with each other.

Fast forward a little, someone like an aunt came to stay a while with us, she had exams in this school not so far from our place so she would stay for the exams and leave once she was through with her papers.

She was not exactly what I pictured 😞 . When my mum came to tell us her friend's daughter would be coming to stay with us for a while, I didn't expect it would be an evil aunt. I call her that because she was way more annoying than my sister's teddy bear, she was the worst nightmare of a growing child.

She would always get us to run errands for us, and since it was our holidays and her exams were usually once or twice a week, we had to keep up with her annoying ass all week. She didn't like me and I returned the favor of not liking her either, we were always at each other's neck.

So this fateful day after making me do the dishes and sweep the living room, note the second thing I disliked more after her was doing dishes and she knew quite well, guess what?.

She asked me to fetch her bath water !!!

I think that was where I began to learn the art of being petty, how can you ask me to fetch your bath water after doing so much in one morning. I got pissed, fetched the water and put a little pepper in it, enough not to be seen but would definitely hurt the eyes.

Her screams drew the attention of the whole house, and when asked what happened to the water... of course I had no idea, I just fetched it and kept it there in the bathroom. Few weeks later she left, even before the conclusion of her exams. This marked the beginning of my childhood mischief, lol we are not here for that though, but you can share yours in the comments.

I got to the new school, new uniform, new shoes, new environment, clean sheet, and whala there she was the same girl that beat me up in grade 5. I was just about to have the smoothest new student entry in the world but what happened, she ruined it.
I just hear John!!!! and there she was, my grade 5 bully calling my name on top of her voice. "Lady we are not friends" I really wished I could pretend not to know her at that point, she had beaten me up for not lending her my pencil while we were in primary school, and I still wasn't ready to forgive her yet.

But we are in senior school now so?? We can move on right and just let it all slide. Not me though, I'm not ready to let it slide, not today and not anytime sooooooonnnnnn waaooooooooooh who tf is that?

I feeel like my brain came out of my head and was trying to get in back but the door was locked already.

She had to be the prettiest I've seen in all my short existence. She had dimples just like mine, and her hair covered on of her eyes while the other poured out white light and a touch of brown candy in the middle. I literally was lost till the teacher said that's your seat.

Enough with the ladies, I liked her, she didn't like me back, I was heartbroken and I opened a porn tab on her browser for the computer teacher to see, and she got punished.

Fast forward to the last two years, I've stopped being petty a little, started coding professionally, helped out a few friends, and became a better person. That's as much as I am willing to share for now, more would come out later when I feel it's time lol.

For now I remain Ay, and I'm not so petty. Feel free to talk a little about your childhood, I really want to know how you survived them evil uncles and aunts.
