Week 88 - Pay It Forward Curation Contest

This week the PIFC group is encouraging everyone to curate two great posts from any of the previous Tribes we visited. Below are the posts I enjoyed from two different groups that are informative and well-written:

Post 1

Remarks After I Created a Community Plus Bug by @gadrian (63) is a great blog posted in the Neoxian Tribe. @gadrian decided to create a community on the beta steem site for the Romanian community. But first, he decided it would be a good opportunity to create a test community and examine the "roles" feature. @gadrian informs the Steem community what happened during his process of creating the test community. He mentions he couldn’t do that from outside of the beta steem site. This was a good idea for him to actually see the process first before creating his Romanian community.

@gadrain states, in his opinion, that the process of creating a new community is very simple. He then takes you through the steps of setting up a community in the new beta.steem site. He says although the process was simple, he wants to point out that anyone creating a community must backup their password (and later break it down into private keys to also store). He reminds us that 3 STEEM is required for anyone interested in creating a community. Below is a picture showing the screenshot of his progress.

I recommend reading @gadrian’s post Remarks After I created a Community to acquire a general knowledge of the process involved in creating a new community on beta.steem and the obstacles he faced with minor bugs he encountered.

Post 2

I wanted to do something different this time for my curation. I located a post in the Homestead and/or Nature group since they contain some beautiful personal photos of nature. I found just that in @thebigsweed's (63) post, Food for the Mind and Body!. Anxious for sunrise, he takes us with him on his morning walk.

What I like about @thebigsweed's post is that he feels that signs of life, other than our own footprint, is a stark reminder that we share this Earth with other creatures, and that knowledge evokes a sense of responsibility in him.

@thebigsweed shows us in this picture the prints he encountered of some type of animal. He assured his wife, @farm-mom, that he wasn't in danger and was safe. Finishing his walk, his wife had a hot meal waiting for him.

I recommend viewing @thebigsweed's post, Food for the Mind and Body, because it includes some amazing nature photos right in his back yard. Stop by and go on a tour with him to see the awesome photos that he doesn't have to travel to capture.
