According to the Daily Mail, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss sent an "It's done" message to US Secretary of State Blinken after the Nord Stream 2 explosion. The message, sent from Truss’s personal phone, was intercepted by the Russians. According to the same reconstructions, this is the real reason for the resignation of Truss.
The revelation comes from The Mail on Sunday: Liz Truss's personal phone was hacked by agents suspected of working for Russia. According to the investigation, the hackers have come into possession of over a year of exchanges with access to top secret details of the negotiations with the main international allies, as well as to the private messages that the former British premier exchanged with his friend and colleague, Kwasi Kwarteng.
The hack was discovered during the summer campaign for the Tory leadership, when Liz Truss was foreign minister, but the details have been withheld from then Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Cabinet Secretary Simon Case. One of the most controversial passages revealed by the magazine concerns an alleged message that the former British Prime Minister sent to US Secretary of State Blinken after the Nord Stream 2 explosion: "It's done". According to the same reconstructions, this is the real reason for the resignation of Truss.
