Hard or tough times are inevitable in man's endeavors. Life creates and gives out everything in pairs. The perfect analogy of how life works and what it offers is the analogy of day and night and its alternation, as the day and night share the same equal amount of hours i.e 12 hours of day and night which accumulates to 24 hours, so is the percentage of hard and easy times in man's pursuit should be expected to be equal.
Invariably, anyone who determines to be successful in life should be undoubtedly expecting both hard and easy times. Unknowingly, the creation of hard times is seen by most individuals as a time or period of everlasting wretchedness and hopefulness of which all in the name of difficulties most had engaged in a lot of unspeakable activities such as murder, robbery and a lot to mention while some individual also unknowingly has seen easy times as a period of hopefulness and unending wealth.
Personally, I am partially in support of these view above because both easy and hard period has their prons and cons. The king of Dubai, sheikh Abdurrasheed Al-Maktoum was asked during and interview about his future expectation on national growth and development of Dubai. He responded as follows "My father rode a camel to this land while it was a desert likewise me but my children are currently riding Lamborghini while my grandchildren will ride Ferrari which means the land of Dubai will still retrogress and later become desert because hard times create strong men while easy times create weak men". Therefore, hard times creates insightfulness, bravery and creation of opportunities.
Currently, it is of no doubt that there is all forms of hardship ranging from economic hardship to insecurity issues which weakens hopefulness and strengthens hopelessness.
There are various ways which I am adopting in strengthening my hope in this hard times.
Firstly, I believe this hard times is created for me to be insightful, strategic and to seek opportunities. Currently, In order to strengthen my hope I am on a research of establishing a tomato paste firm because of high current inflation on the cost of tomato and its increase in demand as a replacement for raw tomato. Carrying out my my market survey research and the feasibility studies to determine the profitability of the business, I discovered and concluded that there is huge profit on the tomato paste business and the raw materials for its production are easy to acquire.
Moreso, fertile land is also available for tomato farming if it could not be easily purchased. Hard time has pushed me to researching a lot about this establishment and business and has strengthens my hope that I will surely create an easy time myself in this hard times.
Furthermore, I strengthen my hope in this period of difficulties anytime I observe many individual who have a tough financial background and striving as I am becoming successful by converting every hardship and difficulties to opportunities.Having known and observed how people become successful when converting difficulties to opportunities, my hope gets restored. Although, the journey may be tough but the success will be achieved because if people could make it in this hard times, my success is guaranteed.
Lastly, as a computer literate , hardship has made me to constantly search for job opportunity online as a software engineer who has been struggling to get a tech job, my sole intention of searching for a tech job is to be able to gather some capital for kick-starting my already planned business.
Fortunately, while searching for online business and jobs, I came across hive. Hive has been a platform for me to strengthen my hope, gather some capital for investment and to connect me to software engineer around the globe which could possibly be an opportunity for me to be employed in my desired software firm. My present situation may hard but my hope in its hard times is never lost.
