Wordle is an online puzzle that presents a daily quest for five-letter words. But the game leaves its players with a secondary challenge: what to do while waiting for the next day’s puzzle. For me, the answer is to go on a Wordle Quest, using each day’s Wordle as a prompt to inspire art, short stories, or poetry.
For example, I use my guesses to generate original characters who star in quest-themed stories. Each day, a Wordler is chosen to quest for a five-letter Word to save Wordler Village by staving off a wizard’s curse for one more day.
These portraits and stories can be enjoyed in two places:
- On Hive, where I’m encouraging others to join post their own Wordle-inspired creative works using the #WordleQuest tag;
- And on Cent Pages, where the most recent episode can be collected as a free-to-mint NFT and exported into any Polygon-supporting crypto-wallet.
For those interested in working within the official Wordle Quest cinematic universe, look for information in an upcoming update.
I’ll be posting my own Wordle Quest stories to this post as well as my favorites from what other people create. I hope you’ll join the Wordle Quest community and reach out to me if you have any questions. Thanks!
