Saludos a toda la familia Hive y a todos quienes nos leen desde otras plataformas. Ayer fue un día tormentoso, pero hoy ha salidos el sol y tenemos motivos para sonreír y volver a creer y crear.

La hemoglobina había llegado a su nivel más bajo desde el diagnóstico hace más de dos semanas y eso ameritó la transfusión de concentrados globulares.

Los dolores de cabeza de todo el día dejaron a nuestra paciente muy débil y para la hora que llegó el material a transfundir, estaba en un letargo bastante pronunciado.

Esa mañana temprano, mamá trató de animarla peinándola y aplicando una crema que había pedido...

Pero ella hacía un esfuerzo por mantener los ojos abiertos. El malestar de cabeza le genera una insensibilidad a la luz.

Después de un rato de buen ánimo, los dolores de cabeza arreciaron y empezó la descompensación y la angustia.

Una especialista sugirió que se le practicará una resonancia magnética.

Esperamos que no sea necesario. Creemos que si las transfusiones logran mantener la hemoglobina y las plaquetas, esos dolores se cabeza deberían desaparecer, al igual que estos moretones.

Hoy la hemoglobina subió a más de 7 (aún baja; aún necesita transfusiones, pero mucho mejor que ayer). La diferencia has sido considerable. A la hora de escribir está publicación, han sido casi 12 horas de relativa normalidad que le han permitido escribir, colorear, cantar y responde algunos de los tantos mensajes que sus amigos les han dejado.

Greetings to the entire Hive family and to all those who read us from other platforms. Yesterday was a stormy day, but today the sun has risen and we have reason to smile, believe and create again.

@manujune's hemoglobin had reached its lowest level since diagnosis more than two weeks ago and this warranted transfusion of packed red blood cells.

Headaches throughout the day left Manuela very weak and by the time the material to transfuse arrived, she was in a rather pronounced lethargy.

Early that morning, Mom tried to cheer her up by combing her hair and applying a cream she asked for....

But she made an effort to keep her eyes open. The headache made her light-sensitive.

After what seemed to be a good time, the headaches increased and the decompensation and anguish began.

A specialist suggested an MRI scan.

We hope that this will not be necessary. We believe that if the transfusions are successful in maintaining hemoglobin and platelets, these headaches should go away, as well as these bruises.

Today the hemoglobin rose to over 7 (still low; still needs transfusions, but much better than yesterday). The difference has been considerable. At the time of writing this post, it has been almost 12 hours of relative normalcy that have allowed her to write, color, sing and answer some of the many messages that his friends have left in her phone.
