It was very strange shakedown today at WRC Rally Chile because half of the field was running on the faster recce speed and some of them were using tactics, at least on the first run of it.
All the P1 drivers must pass through shakedown at least three times but I can see that some of them came to the start of it for the third pass just to give the timecard to officials and went back to service park without entering special stage.
In the end we have Hyundai's Esapekka Lappi fastest there with M-Sport Ford's privateer Martinš Sesks in Puma Rally1 car, but without hybrid unit in the 2nd place.
Another youngster, Finnish Sami Pajari took 3rd place at shakedown in 4th Toyota Yaris Rally1 car. But to be honest, this shakedown times don't mean too much because reality could be seen tomorrow, when the action will start for real and times will be official.
