Angels are ministering spirits and they are meant to minister unto us as children of God. Angels are really not on seat; they are on assignment mobilizing help in our favor. We are involved in a conflict; the Bible says that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12. The fierceness of the battle forbids any seating arrangement for the angels of God, who are tasked with the welfare of all God’s true children.
If the devil; like the reply he gave to God before his confrontation with the man Job, is not sitting, but going to and fro in the earth; the angels of God tasked with our welfare cannot afford to be sitting. They are all over, ensuring that the score card opened by the devil for all true believers is in deficit, yielding no dividend to the kingdom of darkness.
It’s high time you got to understand: that, there is so much that has been put in place by God for our well being, that we need to stand strong in God and in the power of His might, yielding no ground to any unfruitful work of darkness.
The devil may come with all manner of intimidation, basking in his awful abilities. You will need to stay strengthened and refuse to give in; knowing that the new creature you are in Christ Jesus is not subject to the devil, but superior to the devil with God’s awesome allowances. Having angels as your ministers is a part of the package we enjoy in Christ and they are never on seat. They are on assignment working out the bright designs of God for your life.
This is one truth the devil knows so well and he cannot contest it. When he tempted Jesus in the wilderness; he said to Him – “If Thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear Thee up, lest at any time Thou dash Thy feet against a stone” Matthew 4:6. Angels are charged with the upkeep of God’s true children. Angels; we understand from God’s Word, excel in strength. This strength is brought to bear in their assignment embarked upon in your favor; so, you are really not as vulnerable. The forces in your favor are far stronger than those working against you.
