There are many things we should be thankful for. If we take time to observe, we have so much to thank God for. Even during hard times, we can see God and His mercy around us.
Don’t give thanks only on the big things God is doing for you. Be thankful for things that seem small, because you might wake up the next lacking that very thing you took for granted.
Always give thanks to God for everything, what He did, doing, and will do(Ephesians 5:20).
For every moment of complaining and murmuring, there is a stolen moment of praise and gratitude to God. You are also denying yourself of blessings when you complain without giving thanks.
Giving thanks to God shows that you love and appreciate what He did, doing, and will do in your life.
“The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. Christ’s message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct each other with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father” (Colossians 3:15-17 GNB).
