¡Hola, bonito día para todos!
Hoy fuimos de paseo a un parque al que nunca habíamos ido juntos y eso que está justo al lado del terminal de pasajeros. 😅 la excusa es que cuando llegamos de Barquisimeto andamos con maletas y sería complicado apreciar el paisaje y cargar con todo para arriba y para abajo. Ya había escuchado comentarios que hablaban muy bien del parque y de lo bonito que ahora estaba para caminar, conectar con la naturaleza en medio del ruido, los carros, el comercio...
Este parque se llama Musiu Carmelo y se encuentra en la ciudad de Acarigua, en sus 26 hectáreas tiene una laguna, canchas, una zona de juego para los niños, varios caneys, zona para hacer ejercicios y muchísimos árboles. Está resguardado por varios guardabosques y las ardillas que hacen vida allí. 🤭
Al llegar te das cuentas de lo verde que puede ser el mundo, árboles por todos lados, frondosos y llenos de vida. En ese lugar las aves, ardillas, tortugas, patos, loros, abejas, iguanas y supuestamente una baba (caimán) viven libres en ese pequeño espacio.
El único sonido que se puede escuchar es el de las aves y algunos loros que parecen reírse 😅 ¿De nosotros o con nosotros? Sabrá Pepe.
Lo primero que vimos fue a un pequeño grupo de patos descansando, nos dejaron acercarnos mucho a ellos, parecían estar acostumbrados a las personas. Estaban durmiendo en la sombra, pues parece que llegamos a la hora de la siesta.
También encontramos en el parque una guardería de árboles, no se llama así, pero creo que el nombre da a entender las intenciones de ese proyecto.
Tenían árboles y varias plantas ornamentales. Una anécdota: a mis 10 años vine a este parque y sembré un árbol gracias a una actividad del colegio, eso era una cosa delgadita y con pocas hojas, la maestra nos dijo que lo que hicimos ese día fue muy importante y que en 30 años sería un árbol muy bonito.
Me acordé de ese arbolito sembrado, cuando vi esos árboles esperando su oportunidad para volver a la tierra. Transcurrieron 17 años y no treinta, pero quiero creer que aquel árbol seguirá creciendo hasta las nubes 🌱
Hicimos una parada en un caney para una actividad que tenía muchas ganas de hacer desde el día anterior, porque compramos unas acuarelas gracias a los frutos de Hive y me daba mucha emoción probarlas pintando un paisaje de mi querida Portuguesa.
Los paisajes estaban muy bellos, pero me iban a tomar mucho tiempo, así que mejor empecé por algo pequeño y terminé haciendo un árbol. Es que no les conté que llegamos al parque a las 2:00 pm y a las 5:00 pm el transporte se vuelve escaso. Mi querido @torre-alba 🥰 también se puso manos a la obra e hizo una pequeña pieza inspirada en los patos, la obra está en proceso todavía 🤭
No nos queríamos ir, pero teníamos que pasar por el centro a comprar unas cosas. Volveremos muy pronto con mi mamá para hacer un pícnic y ver a la misteriosa baba.😁
Camino al centro, le tomé una foto al general José Antonio Páez, ubicado en la redoma de Acarigua, aunque si me lo preguntan yo diría que se parece más a Jeremías Springfield de los Simpson.
También encontré estos pantalones gigantes ¡Jaja! Que idea más ingeniosa para vender ¡Aquí tenemos los pantalones! 😁. La caminata terminó a las 6 de la tarde, que fue cuando logramos montarnos en la buseta y regresar a la casita. Fue un día donde nos reencontramos con la naturaleza y vimos ardillas gorditas subir por los árboles muchas veces. 🌱

Today we went for a walk to a park that we had never been to together and it's right next to the passenger terminal. 😅 The excuse is that when we arrived from Barquisimeto we were carrying suitcases and it would be complicated to appreciate the landscape and carry everything up and down. I had already heard comments that spoke very well of the park and how nice it was to walk, to connect with nature in the midst of the noise, the cars, the commerce.
This park is called Musiu Carmelo and is located in the city of Acarigua, in its 26 hectares it has a lagoon, courts, a playground for children, several caneys, an exercise area and lots of trees. It is guarded by several park rangers and the squirrels that live there. 🤭
When you arrive you realise how green the world can be, trees everywhere, lush and full of life. Birds, squirrels, turtles, ducks, parrots, bees, iguanas and supposedly a baba (alligator) live free in this small space.
The only sound that can be heard is that of birds and some parrots that seem to laugh 😅 At us or with us? Pepe will know.
The first thing we saw was a small group of ducks resting, they let us get very close to them, they seemed to be used to people. They were sleeping in the shade, as we seem to have arrived at siesta time.
We also found a tree nursery in the park, it's not called that, but I think the name hints at the intentions of the project.
They had trees and various ornamental plants. An anecdote: when I was 10 years old I came to this park and planted a tree thanks to a school activity, it was a thin thing with few leaves, the teacher told us that what we did that day was very important and that in 30 years it would be a very beautiful tree.
I remembered that little tree planted, when I saw those trees waiting for their chance to come back to the earth. Seventeen years have passed and not thirty, but I want to believe that that tree will continue to grow up to the clouds 🌱.
We stopped at a caney for an activity that I had been looking forward to doing since the day before, because we bought some watercolours thanks to the fruits of Hive and I was very excited to try them painting a landscape of my beloved Portuguesa.
The scenery was beautiful, but it was going to take me a long time, so I started small and ended up making a tree. I didn't tell you that we arrived at the park at 2:00 pm and at 5:00 pm transport becomes scarce. My dear @torre-alba 🥰 also got to work and made a small piece inspired by ducks, the work is still in progress 🤭.
We didn't want to leave, but we had to stop by the centre to buy a few things. We'll be back very soon with my mum for a picnic and to see the mysterious baba.😁
