Good day, everyone! It's your girl again, @tvlipz, back again with a new blog🥰.
Before I start this, I want to ask you one question. How are you lately? I really hope you're okay and living your life to the fullest.
It's been a stressful week, hasn't it? especially for students in Cebu because of synchronous learning, whereas we have to do online classes or modules every day. Since we've been through a lot of struggles and frustrations in answering our modules, me and my besties decided to go to church last Sunday to pray and relax for a bit. Along with it, we wanted to spend time with each other because it's been so long since we last had an official bonding session. It was really sad that my other friends could not go with us because they have different religions, and some of them were really busy. We respect their busy days, so we did not force them to come along with us.
"San Juan Nepomuceno Parish" is the name of the church, and to be honest, I haven't visited this church in the past few months due to the fact that I've been really busy and I have no one to go with me. So when I entered the church, I was really mesmerized by how it changed, and the lighting was very beautiful. It really gave me the peace of mind and comfort that I've always wanted.
At first, I didn't actually remember what we had to do, so I was so cautious with my actions that I could not even focus on what the priest was saying. However, my friends just kept telling me to go with the flow, relax, and feel the presence of God. Then I realized that even if I made a wrong move, I knew that God wouldn't judge me. From then on, I kept reminding myself that even if I was super busy with something, I must still not forget the one who made me, which is God. I will really try my best to go to church every Sunday to praise and serve the Lord.
After the mass, me and my friends went to the lapyahan (a well-known public beach in San Remigio) to watch the sunset and take a picture together. We were having a great time with the best view. It's been a while since I went to the seashore in Lapyahan and took a picture of the sunset. We even went to a random store just to buy a fried isaw because we suddenly became hungry. For those who don't know what "isaw" is, it's typically a chicken intestine; it can be grilled or coated with flour and deep-fried.
After a short chitchat, we decided to go home already since it's 6 p.m. and my friend's mom is already looking for her. We bid our goodbyes and parted ways, telling each other to be careful and always be alert to the dangers ahead.
Having them in my life is really a wonderful blessing that was given to me by God. I am genuinely happy when I'm with them. It's so wonderful that I can still spend time with them no matter how busy we are—a thing that I won't ever forget. This is a sign for you to go out with your friends and cherish every moment you have with them because we never know what will happen in the future.
Thank you for reading my blog, and I hope you enjoyed it!🤗🤍
