Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii, what's up? Have you ever went to a free concert? How was the experience? This saturday a couple of friends invited me to go to the Karina concert, a famous artist from the 80's that my mom loves, my mom didn't go with me and actually I wasn't even going at first but later I thought that it might be a good experience to live. Hoooola, ¿qué más? ¿Has ido alguna vez a un concierto gratuito? ¿Cómo fue la experiencia? Este sábado un par de amigos me invitaron a ir al concierto de Karina, una famosa artista de los 80's que a mi mamá le encanta, mi mamá no fue conmigo y de hecho ni siquiera iba a ir al principio pero después pensé que podría ser una buena experiencia para vivir. Déjenme les cuento como me fue. 👇👇👇👇👇
At first a friend had invited me to go but I told him I would think about it because I don't know Karina, I may recognize one or two of her songs but I have never sat down to listen to her as such and I felt sorry for being the only one there who didn't sing or anything. Then some friends also wrote me to go and I ended up accepting because I thought: "If I have been invited on 2 occasions, it's a sign that I have to go", so I got dressed up, grabbed a sangria I had at home to drink there and went with my friends to the concert.
Al principio un amigo me había invitado a ir pero le dije que lo pensaría pues yo no conozco a Karina, podré reconocer una o dos canciones de ella pero nunca me he sentado a escucharla como tal y me daba pena ser el único allí que no cantaba ni nada. Luego unas amigas que también me escribieron para ir y terminé aceptando pues pensé: "Si ya en 2 ocasiones me invitaron, es una señal de que hay que ir", así que me arreglé, agarré una sangría que tenía en la casa para tomar allá y me fui con mis amigas hasta el concierto.
There were a lot of people, you can not imagine how many, when we arrived we suffered a little to find the family of one of my friends because there was no phone signal and the crowd did not let us see anything. In the end we were able to find each other and tried to move forward to meet other people but it was impossible, there were so many people that we could not move forward and we had to stay near the subway station although from there we could not see anything. We went to eat some hamburgers a couple of blocks away because the stand that was near the stage was full and then we went back.
Había un montón de gente, no se imaginan cuanto, al llegar sufrimos un poco en encontrar a la familia de una de mis amigas pues no había señal telefónica y el tumulto no nos dejaba ver nada. Al final nos pudimos encontrar e intentamos avanzar para encontrarnos con otras personas pero fue imposible, había tante gente que no se podía avanzar y nos tocó quedarnos en la cercanía de la estación de metro aunque desde allí no se veía nada. Fuimos a comer unas hamburguesas a un par de cuadras pues el puesto que estaba cerca de la tarima estaba full y nos devolvimos.
We were there for a while, then we went to say hello to this friend who had invited me first and we went back to meet some other friends who were also at the concert, we stayed with them for a while and we ended up meeting all the relatives of my friends, our friends and me again near the subway. We shared a good time and then we went home, it was a nice experience although I practically didn't see any of the concert, they also sang many songs of other artists that I like and it was good to see my friends after a long time.
Estuvimos allí un rato, luego fuimos a saludar a este amigo que me había invitado primero y nos devolvimos para encontrarnos con otros amigos que también estaban en el concierto, nos quedamos con ellos un rato y nos terminamos reuniendo todos los familiares de mis amigas, nuestros amigos y yo otra vez cerca del metro. Compartimos un buen rato y luego nos fuimos cada quien a su casa, fue una bonita experiencia aunque practicamente no vi nada del concierto, también cantaron muchas canciones de otros artistas que me gustan y fue bueno ver a mis amigos después de un largo tiempo.
