Hello my dearest Hivers! How are you all doing, I hope you all are safe and sound. Anyways, for today's blog, I'm going to share my 1st day experience in bohol, the delays, inconvenience, and how I arrived. So without further ado, let's get started!
My first day was on February 24 the day we were going to bohol, we originally planned to take the first trip to Bohol in the morning to make the most of our time for sightseeing since we were only staying there for one day and one night due to having classes the next day. However, it got rescheduled to the second trip because we overslept and only started walking at 10 am.
We decided to book transportation to avoid getting lost because we didn't know the way to the port. When we arrived at the Cordova port, we couldn't board right away because they no longer had trips to Bohol since the ship we were supposed to take was broken. The locals there advised us to go to the Hilton port because we could still catch their second trip, which was around 2:30 pm.
We hurriedly went to the Hilton, took a tricycle, then a jeep, and walked, and luckily, we managed to get a ticket for their trip to Bohol. We only paid a total of ₱560.00 (approximately $32.98) because we brought our school IDs and received a significant discount. The boat departed around 2:45 pm, and our journey lasted only an hour and a half.
We arrived at the port of Getafe around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and started to breathe in the fresh sea breeze and the usual smell of the province with a lot of trees. We took a tricycle, which cost ₱25.00 (0.43 dollars) per person, to a narrow alley to catch a van to Buenavista. The fare we paid for the van to Buenavista was ₱70.00 (4.13 dollars) per person. We travel to Buenavista that only lasts for 30 minutes.
When we arrived at our grandmother's house, we felt tired and rested for a while, around 6 o'clock in the evening, the sun was still shining brightly.
People were happily singing because our relatives were also there gathering on that day. And as darkness fell, we quickly rested because we had an early start the next day to visit other tourist spots in Bohol.
We've been through a lot on that day but the most important thing is that we got to see the beauty of bohol since it is only my 2nd time going there, the last time I visited bohol was when I was only 5years old and I got the chance to meet and create good memories with my relatives.
That is all for today's blog I hope you enjoy reading and thank you so much for continuing to support and encourage me to do more. Stay safe everyone!
