¿Cuantos de ustedes disfrutan pasar tiempo en familia? Para nosotros es muy importante tener estos momentos en nuestras agendas y afortunadamente esta última semana la hemos dedicado a agasajar a mis suegros que estan de visita, y es su primera vez en Maturín, así que hemos tratado de llevarlos de paseo por la ciudad para que conozcan sus alrededores; y al mismo tiempo dedicarles tiempo de calidad ♥️.

How many of you enjoy spending time with your family? For us it is very important to have these moments in our schedules and fortunately this last week we have dedicated to entertain my in-laws who are visiting, and it is their first time in Maturín, so we have tried to take them on a tour of the city so that they can get to know their surroundings; and at the same time dedicate some quality time to them ♥️.
Aprovechando su visita, no podíamos perder la oportunidad de disfrutar de los dotes culinarios que tienen mis suegros, así que organizamos una comida en casa e invitamos a mis hermanas para poder disfrutar entre las 2 familias, siendo el platillo escogido un arroz con pollo, chuleta de cerdo y salchichón, así que pueden hacerse una idea de lo potente que estuvo esa combinación 🤤.
Taking advantage of their visit, we could not miss the opportunity to enjoy the culinary skills that my in-laws have, so we organized a meal at home and invited my sisters to enjoy between the 2 families, being the chosen dish a rice with chicken, pork chop and sausage, so you can get an idea of how potent that combination was 🤤.
Y mientras se cocinaba el arroz tuvimos nuestro respectivo tiempo para ponernos al día, lo que nos permitió reir un montón escuchando las distintas anécdotas de cada uno. Algo que debo resaltar es el hecho de que mis suegros son muy sociables, así que es muy fácil entrar en confianza con ellos ✨.
And while the rice was cooking we had our respective time to catch up, which allowed us to laugh a lot listening to each other's different anecdotes. One thing I must highlight is the fact that my in-laws are very sociable, so it is very easy to get to know them ✨.
Después de almorzar semejante exquisitez, porque debo acotar que ese arroz quedó increíblemente rico, nos animamos a tener una tarde juegos con las cartas del UNO y el JENGA, nuestros juegos favoritos para crear competencia entre nosotros 🫣.
Normally we have lunch in the supermarket cafeteria, but this time there was a long queue and the food available didn't appeal to us, so we decided to go home to leave the shopping and from there walk to the bakery nearby; only the sun was super strong and that walk turned out to be a strenuous journey 🥵.
De verdad estoy agradecida por la visita de mis suegros porque sé lo mucho que mi esposo necesitaba pasar tiempo con ellos, pues sé por experiencia propia lo que significa vivir lejos de tu familia y la soledad que a veces podemos experimentar estando fuera de nuestro entorno familiar, así que el simple hecho de compartir una comida todos juntos es algo que me llena el corazón.
I am truly grateful for the visit of my in-laws because I know how much my husband needed to spend time with them, as I know from my own experience what it means to live away from your family and the loneliness we can sometimes experience being away from our familiar surroundings, so the simple fact of sharing a meal together is something that fills my heart.
Dios es bueno con nosotros cada día, no tenemos más que agradecimiento hacia Él, por ello estamos aprovechando al máximo estos días que han pasado con nosotros, y estamos tratando de servirles con la mejor disposición 😌. Este día fue muy bonito y divertido para nosotros, además de que nos permitió acercarnos más como familia, entonces sé que se llevaran grandes recuerdos de este viaje. ✨
God is good to us every day, we have nothing but gratitude towards Him, that's why we are making the most of these days that you have spent with us, and we are trying to serve you with the best disposition 😌. This day was very nice and fun for us, plus it allowed us to get closer as a family, so I know you will take great memories of this trip. ✨
