As mentioned in the previous blog, after visiting the surfing camp, we went to the place where we typically go to enjoy the best halo-halo. We were surprised to discover that there was an ongoing event, a wedding, when we arrived at the restaurant. So we assumed it was close, but the server informed us that they only used half of the space. I didn't take a picture because it felt awkward. This is one of the few places we hang out ,we always enjoy going here every time I return home from the city, and I even bring one of my friends here, Jenny.

We ordered the usual, which we all crave, and the kids got ice cream. On the other hand, because my brother had been craving Sinigang, he ordered Sinigang na Hipon, and my sister in law had prepared both rice and pork adobo. It's a good thing that this restaurant doesn't charge corkage because we could have paid for it. While we were enjoying the food while the kids were occupied with their electronic devices. We snapped some shots on our way back to the car, and I was struck by how serene and beautiful the surroundings is. It is modest but full of greenery and even some coconut trees, which made me feel at ease.

My sister-in-law wanted to buy some dried fish on our way home. Yes, our province is well-known for dried fish, in addition to its lovely beaches. When they come to Guiuan, they usually make a habit of stopping by this location named Taytay. If you go to the church that we went to, you'll know you're in Taytay because you can smell the dried fish from away and there are various places along the road that show or display the dried fish.

Undoubtedly, the day won't be complete without seeing my mother. Knowing that Mom passed away five years ago still feels like it happened yesterday because we miss her so deeply. We lighted the candle and thought about all the wonderful and difficult experiences, as well as the battles my mother had to face in order to be a strong wife and mother to us.

Thank you all hivers, till next time! :)
