Last October 18, my daughter asked me to accompany her to church to pray with her for the upcoming exam. The exam will be on October 20. So we did we ask for guidance and prayers were answered๐Ÿ™! The results will be announced after 5 days which gave so much pressure from her. She keeps asking me what if she fails, what if, what if, what if and what if. This is fear, doubt and uncertainty (FUD). So my message to her is what if you passed the test? I told her about setting your mind into positive thoughts "You can if you think you can". The reply coming from her is what if I fail? So her mind was so afraid about failing. I told her it's okay to fail at least you learned then do it again and again and again until you passed it. When the results came in this is her response...

TYL = Thank you Lord!

I was so happy for her and very very proud because I know what it takes to pass this exam. The next day I told her we should celebrate!

We made sure also to visit my mom to tell her the news. We brought her favorite beer ๐Ÿ˜…. Also a guy approached me he said he can clean the tombstone for only Php 150. I agreed and watch him clean it the results are amazing and it took him only 10 minutes to do it. I joke with him if he can teach me this skill so I can clean other tombstones for Php 150 ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Note: Being a single dad is rough specially with kids all grown up and the struggles they have to face in real life. I am very very grateful to our Lord with all the blessings coming to my life. There is a saying that every winter comes spring, every darkness there comes a light and one of my favorite "To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering".

Note 2: I'm using CommentRewarder let me know what is your proud moment with your kids.

As always God bless you all!
