Surprised but not happy-Valentine's Day

February 5 this year when hubby decided to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers, a cake, and some brownies. I was surprised that I knew my husband didn't have money or even extra money. So when he handed me that stuff my first question was Where did he get money to buy those flowers etc? Then he answered that he pawned his ATM to buy something for me. Should I be happy that he did that? Well first I do appreciate his efforts but the fact that he pawned his ATM for those stuffs and that money should be intended for our expenses weekly. Now, my point is, it's okay to surprise someone if you are financially okay like you are compromising any other things.

Me trying to act like I am happy

Now after the week of his advance surprise for Valentine's Day here I am financially stressed because we don't have money anymore for our daily food.

Honestly, I don't understand why he has to make that kind of stupid decision by pawning his ATM just to buy those kinds of stuff. I would be happier if he pawned it and then he gave me all the money so I wouldn't be stressed by this time.

I don't know if what is right but that's what I feel I am not happy with what he did. He doesn't know me. I am a very practical person and I don't appreciate those expensive flowers. He rather buys groceries for us. It would be better.

Ladies out there if you will be in my part what will you feel about the said surprise of my husband?
Will you be happy or you will feel the same way I feel?
