Last Month was special because my grandmother, whom we call Lola, arrived from Arkansas, USA. To celebrate her visit, my family planned a day of bonding at Seda Hotel. The whole experience was filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments.🥰
We all met early in the morning at the hotel lobby. Lola, despite her long journey, was energetic and excited to spend time with us. Her smile was contagious, setting the tone for a perfect day ahead. My family and I were equally excited to create new memories together.

Our first stop was the hotel's breakfast buffet. The spread was impressive, with a variety of dishes catering to every plate. Lola was particularly happy to see a mix of traditional Filipino dishes and Western options. We all piled our plates high and chatted about Lola's experiences in Arkansas, her flight, and our plans for the day.✈️
After breakfast, we headed to the hotel's garden area. The rich greenery and peaceful environment provided a perfect backdrop for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We took turns sharing stories about our recent activities and reminiscing about old times. Lola shared stories from her younger days, which had us all laughing and feeling more connected.
Next, we decided to take advantage of the hotel's service and headed to the swimming pool. Lola preferred to stay by the poolside, watching us with a smile as we splashed around and played games. It was refreshing to take a dip, and we made sure to include Lola in our fun by chatting with her and making her laugh.
Around noon, we decided it was time for a little adventure outside the hotel. We chose to visit a nearby mall for some light shopping and a leisurely stroll. Lola was excited to see the vibrant mall, and we made sure to stop by some of her favorite stores. My aunt found a beautiful scarf that she thought would look perfect on Lola, and we all agreed. It was heartwarming to see Lola's face light up when we gifted it to her.
After our mall visit, we returned to Seda Hotel for lunch at their renowned restaurant. The menu offered a delightful mix of local and international cuisine. Lola opted for a classic Filipino dish, while the rest of us explored different options. The food was delicious, and the conversation even better. We talked about everything under the sun, from funny childhood memories to our hopes and dreams for the future.
Post-lunch, we decided to relax in the hotel's lounge area. Lola, with her wealth of stories, kept us entertained. We listened intently as she talked about her life in Arkansas, the friends she made, and the cultural differences she observed. It was fascinating to hear her perspective, and it made us appreciate the diverse experiences that shape our lives.
As the afternoon sun began to set, we headed to the hotel's rooftop bar. The view from the top was breathtaking, with the city skyline on one side and a serene landscape on the other. We ordered some refreshing drinks and toasted to Lola's visit. The atmosphere was filled with joy and contentment as we took in the beautiful surroundings.
One of the highlights of the day was our impromptu photo session. We took numerous pictures, capturing candid moments and posed shots alike. Lola, always ready with a smile, was the star of the show. These photos would serve as precious reminders of this special day.
Dinner time approached, and we chose to dine at the hotel's al fresco dining area. The cool evening breeze, combined with soft music and the twinkling city lights, created a magical ambiance. Lola shared more stories, and we all felt a deep sense of gratitude for her presence and the love that bound us together.
As the night wore on, we retreated to our rooms for a movie marathon. We chose a mix of classic films and recent releases, ensuring there was something for everyone. Lola, despite her long day, stayed up with us, laughing and commenting on the movies.
Our day at Seda Hotel was coming to an end, but the memories we created would last a lifetime. Spending time with Lola and my family reminded me of the importance of family. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that made it truly special.
As we finally settled in for the night, I reflected on how fortunate I was to have such amazing people in my life. Lola's visit was a beautiful reminder to cherish every moment with loved ones and to create lasting memories together. Here's to many more such joyful gatherings and the promise of more adventures with the people who matter most.💞
