Hoy voy a traerles mi opinion acerca de este smartphone de la marca Infinix, una compañia de equipos electronicos fundada en 2013 y que en los ultimos años ha enfocado parte de su desarrollo hacia nuestro continente, despues de asentarse en lugares como India o Egipto.
En diciembre mi telefono celular se dañó, asi que decidi comprar otro, pero el presupuesto no era tan alto, asi que tenia que tener acierto con mi busqueda. Despues de indagar un buen rato me decidi por este modelo, lo probé y ahora te traigo mi opinion ENTERAMENTE PERSONAL sobre el, aqui no hay patrocinio de ninguna marca (ojalá) ni nada parecido, asi que en este post vas a leer opiniones reales.
Especificaciones.
Pantalla: 6.56'' HD+ (720*1612) con una tasa de refresco de 60/90Hz.
Bateria: 5000mAh con carga rapida (Tipo C) de 18 W.
Memoria RAM/ROM: 4+4/128 - 8+8/128.
Procesador: Octa-core MediaTek Helio G37.
Camara Frontal/Trasera: 8MP/13MP Dual.
El precio oscila entre 90$ y 105$ (versiones de 4+4GB RAM y 8+8GB RAM respectivamente) (Mercado Venezolano) y ademas cuenta con aditamientos interesantes, como NFC, que si bien en este pais no tiene practicamente utilidad, si que es excelente que un telefono de este rango de precio cuente con dicha tecnologia. Cuenta con un sensor de huellas lateral y desbloqueo facial, el telefono pesa alrededor de 190gr.
Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog once again. Today I'm going to bring you my opinion about this smartphone from Infinix, an electronics company founded in 2013 and that in recent years has focused part of its development to our continent, after settling in places like India or Egypt.
In December my cell phone was damaged, so I decided to buy another one, but the budget was not so high, so I had to be right with my search. After researching for a while I decided on this model, I tried it and now I bring you my ENTIRELY PERSONAL opinion about it, here there is no sponsorship of any brand (hopefully) or anything like that, so in this post you will read real opinions about it.
Specifications.
Display: 6.56'' HD+ (720*1612) with a refresh rate of 60/90Hz.
Battery: 5000mAh with 18W fast charging (Type C).
RAM/ROM memory: 4+4/128 - 8+8/128.
Processor: Octa-core MediaTek Helio G37.
Front/Rear Camera: 8MP/13MP Dual.
The price of this smartphone ranges between $90 and $105 (4+4GB RAM and 8+8GB RAM versions respectively, on the Venezuelan market) and also has interesting additions, such as Near Field Comunication, which although in this country is practically useless, it is excellent that a smartphone in this range price range has this technology. It has a side fingerprint sensor on the unlock button and facial unlocking, the phone weighs about 190gr.
Estetica y manejo.
Primero, hablando de su diseño, el telefono es bastante bonito, tiene un tamaño correcto aunque como pasa con la mayoria de los telefonos actuales, es bastante pesado. Su pantalla ocupa un 90% del frontal y la camara delantera viene en el ya tipico notch circular. Sus colores destacan bastante en azul cielo que tengo yo y blanco, el mostaza a mi personalmente me parecio horrible.
Aspectos positivos:
- La pantalla, tiene 500nits de brillo y esto es inusual en telefonos de este rango de precio y gama, que normalmente tienen menos brillo, por lo que destaca de entrada en eso. Lo mismo para la tasa de refresco de 90Hz, desde cualquier punto de vista, la pantalla de este telefono es un 20/10 (por supuesto, con respecto a su rango de precio)
- Desbloqueo Facial, funciona de maravilla, incluso en sitios con bastante oscuridad, el software igual responde y de hecho es la opcion de desbloqueo que utilizo yo. El control por gestos tambien es muy optimo.
Aspectos negativos:
- El desbloqueo dactilar lateral se me hace muy incomodo y no lo uso salvo que sea obligatorio, quizas una persona con dedos mas finos no tenga este problema, pero yo normalmente tengo que escanear varias veces para que reconozca mi huella, algo pequeño, pero molesto.
- La tasa de refresco de 90Hz no funciona al 100% en escenarios de alto impacto de recursos, por ejemplo, jugando, este problema no es culpa de la pantalla si no mas bien del procesador, que puede quedarse corto si le exiges demasiado. Eso si, esto se puede ''corregir'' activando la RAM virtual, eso lo explico mas abajo.
Aesthetics and handling.
First off all, talking about its design, the phone is quite nice and looks really cute in hand, has a correct size for handling although as with most current smartphones, it is quite heavy for carrying with one hand. Its screen occupies 90% of the front and the front camera comes in the typical circular notch. Its colors stand out quite a lot in blue and white, the mustard to me personally seemed horrible.
Positive aspects:
- The screen display, has 500nits of brightness and this is unusual in phones of this pricerange and range, which normally have less brightness, so it stands out from the start in that. The same for the refresh rate of 90Hz, from any point of view, the screen of this phone is a 20/10 (of course, with respect to its price range).
- The facial unlock, works really really great, even in dark places or with ligths off, the software still responds very well and in fact it's the unlock option I use instead of fingerprint. The gesture control is also very optimal.
Negative aspects:
- The side fingerprint unlock is very uncomfortable for me and I do not use it unless it is mandatory, maybe a person with finer fingers do not have this problem, but I usually have to scan several times to recognize my fingerprint, something small, but annoying.
The 90Hz refresh rate of the display does not work 100% in high resource intensive scenarios, for example, with gaming, this problem is not the fault of the screen but rather of the processor, which can fall short if you demand too much from it. However, this can be ''corrected'' by activating the virtual RAM, which I explain below.
Desempeño.
Aqui es donde destaca este telefono, lo normal cuando uno piensa en equipos de esta gama es que dicho equipo sea lento, o tal vez no tan rapido como uno de mayor precio pero esto no pasa con el Hot 30i, el equipo viene en 2 versiones, una de 4gb de ram que se puede ampliar a 8 (4gb son virtuales, esto se consigue cambiando espacio de almacenamiento por RAM) y la otra version, la que tengo yo, es de 8+8, usando el mismo proceso, es decir 8 gb de ram reales y hasta 8 virtuales.
Sin activar la ram virtual, todo me ha funcionado al 100% y la respuesta captativa es inmediata, excepto la tasa de refresco de pantalla a 90Hz, que en este modo no funciona bien al correr juegos pesados como Call of Dutty Mobile. Al activar la ram virtual en cualquiera de sus opciones (+3, +5 y +8) el problema desaparece. Me parece un acierto que hayan agregado los 128GB de espacio, asi puedes activar la ram virtual sin problemas.
Uso diario.
Excelente. La bateria del telefono puede durar 41 dias en espera, hasta 60 horas en llamada y 24 horas de video. El ahorro de bateria extiende el uso hasta por 24% con apenas 5% de bateria, esto ultimo lo probé solo por las risas y efectivamente, si cumple, para casos extremos es un plus. Tengo unas tres semanas usando activamente el telefono a diario y no he tenido ni un solo problema de lentitud, bugs, lag ni de calentamiento.
El cargador (18w), si bien no es nada sorprendente en el mercado actual, si es de casi el doble de potencia de lo que se ve normalmente en esta gama (10w), lo que es otro punto a destacar, lo he descargado a proposito para medir el tiempo, y de 0 a 100% de bateria tarda entre 1h15m / 1h30m estando apagado, encendido (con wifi encendido) tarda mas o menos 1h45m / 2h.
Sin abrir juegos, la bateria me ha aguantado dos dias de uso normal, ocio en redes sociales, llamadas, y apps casuales como alarma, calculadora, etc.
La camara.
No tiene nada destacable, si bien no es mediocre, tampoco es esta la razon por la que podrias querer comprarte este telefono, simplemente esta a la media normal de esta gama, si algo le destaco es su capacidad de grabar en camara lenta, esta opcion funciona muy bien.
Hardware & Gaming.
Su procesador, si bien no esta pensado para ser un procesador gamer, funciona muy bien para los juegos, sobre todo si se le apoya con la ram virtual. Genshin Impact me rinde entre 12 y 15 fps con graficos altos y con la configuracion de graficos mas baja es mas estable, rondando los 30fps. Call of Dutty Mobile corre excelente y mi juego favorito para Mobiles, Mobile Legends, me funciona al 100% con todas sus configuraciones en la mayor calidad. Mi sesion de juego mas extensa ha sido de unas 6 horas y el telefono no se recalienta demasiado ni se ralentiza, y la bateria responde bien, mas o menos 40% en esas 6 horas. Asi que, resumiendo, para jugar, este telefono funciona mejor que otros equipos que incluso, son mas caros.
Ademas, el software incluye el motor Dar-link 2.0, que utiliza los recursos del telefono para que, cuando estes jugando, sea el juego el que tenga prioridad en el procesador del telefono, aumentando el rendimiento de estos y esto es algo notable, lo he comparado con un telefono silimar, un Xiaomi Redmi 13C y el Infinix tiene un mejor funcionamiento apreciable cuando se esta jugando.
Performance.
This is where this smartphone stands out, normally when you think of equipment in this range is that such equipment is slow, or maybe not as fast as one of higher price but this does not happen with the Infinix Hot 30i, the device comes in two versions, one of 4gb of ram that can be expanded to 8 (4gb are virtual, this is achieved by changing storage space by RAM) and the other version, which I have, is 8 + 8 RAM, using the same process, ie 8 gb of real ram and up to 8 virtual.
Without activating the virtual ram, everything worked 100% and the captive response is immediate, except the screen refresh rate at 90Hz, which in this mode does not work well when running heavy games like Call of Dutty Mobile. By activating the virtual ram in any of its options (+3, +5 and +8) the problem disappears. I think it is a good thing that they have added the 128GB of space, so you can activate the virtual ram without problems.
Daily use.
Excellent. This telephone battery can last 41 days on standby (no tested by me, off course), up to 60 hours in call and 24 hours of video. The battery saver extends usage by up to 24% with only 5% of battery, the latter I tested just for laughs and indeed, if it delivers, for extreme cases is a plus. I have about three weeks actively using the phone daily and I have not had a single problem of slowness, bugs, lag or heating.
The phone charger (18w), while nothing surprising in the current charger market, if it is almost twice the power of what is normally seen in this range (10w), which is another highlight for this one, I have discharged it on purpose to measure the time, and from 0 to 100% battery takes between 1h15m / 1h30m with the telephone being off, on (with wifi on) takes about 1h45m / 2h.
Without opening games, the battery has held me two days of normal use, leisure in social networks, calls, and casual apps like alarm, calculator, etc..
The camera.
I have to say, it has nothing remarkable att all, although it is not a mediocre camera, this is not the reason why you might want to buy this phone, just this to the normal average of this range, if anything I highlight is its ability to record in slow motion, this option works very well.
Hardware & Gaming.
Its processor, while not intended to be a gamer processor per se, works very well for gaming, especially if it is supported with the virtual ram option. on this set, Genshin Impact runs between 12 and 15 fps with high graphics and with the lowest graphics settings is more stable, hovering around 30fps. Call of Dutty Mobile runs excellent and my favorite mobile game, Mobile Legends, runs 100% on all settings at the highest quality. My longest gaming session has been about 6 hours and the phone doesn't overheat or slow down too much, and the battery responds well, more or less 40% in those 6 hours. So, in short, for gaming, this phone works better than other devices that are even more expensive.
In addition, the software includes the Dar-link 2.0 engine, which uses the resources of the phone so that when you are playing, the game is the one that has priority on the phone's processor, increasing the performance of these and this is something remarkable, I have compared it with a Silimar phone, a Xiaomi Redmi 13C and the Infinix has a noticeable better performance when you are playing.
Conclusiones.
Todo lo bueno:
Su pantalla, muy por encima de la media en la gama de entrada actual.
Su desempeño para jugar, es de lo mejor que he probado en este rango de precio.
Su respuesta rapida, el telefono no es lento ni se calienta demasiado, ni siquiera con un uso pesado.
Todo lo malo:
Su camara no destaca en absolutamente nada.
Si bien su bateria es muy buena, podria ser mejor, yo preferiria al menos 6000mAh.
Para lo que cuesta, este telefono es una de las mejores opciones que hay siempre que no estes buscando tomar fotografias, pensando solo en eso es quizas, de las peores opciones. Pero si buscas un telefono para uso casual o sobre todo, para jugar, este es el mejor de las opciones baratas.
Conclusions.
All the good stuff:
Its screen, well above average in the current entry range.
Its performance for gaming, is the best I've tried in this price range.
Its fast response to the tactile use, the phone is not slow nor does it get too hot, even with heavy use.
Everything bad:
Its camera doesn't excel at absolutely nothing.
While its battery is very good, it could be better, I would prefer at least 6000mAh.
For what it costs, this smartphone is one of the best options on the market out there as long as you are not looking to take pictures, thinking only about that is perhaps one of the worst options. But if you are looking for a phone for casual use or above all, to play, this is the best of the cheap options.
