Going cuckoo has become synonymous with a crazy person.
Why? I wonder. Apparently, the cuckoos keep calling incessantly through out day and night at the beginning of planting season - this foolish behavior is akin to a crazy person talking incessantly. Perhaps this is the origin of the phrase going cuckoo
Be as it may, the bird is very cute and up to antics all day.
This Jacobian cuckoo I saw was no exception.
For about two hours, I kept observing, laughing and clicking this bird in it's various poses.
Here are the pictures with just a caption to explain what I thought the bird was thinking ...
My right profile - ain't I cute?
Looking at you head on - dare you to a staring contest!
Perhaps I look more handsome with my right profile!
Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt???
Here is my hurdle jumping pose!
Is this 'Plain Jane' in monochrome livery worth capturing on camera?
What do you think personally? I loved seeing the cuckoo made an effort to get it on my camera. Do you think it was worth it? Have you attempted or would you attempt anything like this in photography? If so, please share your experience in comments.
Please comment freely and let me know your opinion. I will try to bring many different types of wildlife photos/macro/Astro posts to the community. Feedback and comments are welcome,. I am still learning many techniques and always value feedback from experts in this community.
Have a nice day everyone. Cheers!
P.S: Pease feel free to suggest some funny titles for the images. ( Especially, @castleberry - please suggest some of your quirky genius titles 😀! I just love the way you use titles)
