It's been more than two weeks since I moved into the new apartment and while I was going to dry wash clothes on the rooftop, there was a tiny bird at the stair. I thought she would fly but she did not. I brought her home to check if she was fine.
I fed her with water and boiled rice, she had it and as I was working I put her on my working table, she was there first she looked at me for some time, I talked with her. I shared about the work I was doing and also told her don't worry if she is not understand me.
She pooped twice on the table and sleep.
I think my whole conversation with her was boring and she fell sleep. She approximately slept for 1 hour. I kept her for some time in my t-shirt to make her warm, clicked her photos, and shared with my colleagues about the new employee joining us.
Everyone was happy and wanted to hire immediately as we could save flight money and it could be good for the environment.
I thought she is going to stay so I put a plant pot on the work table near her and food at the window so that she could make herself home. However, after an hour she had some more food and flew out from the balcony.
She spend more than 4 hours with me and it was so a warm feeling for me. In the evening I saw there were so many of these birds downstair that might be they have nests nearby.
I think she came from downstair and did not get a way to get out, and might be she was exhausted because of it and surrendered herself fully once I found her. The good part is she was feeling fine and went to her family, sad is it was a very short-term contract as a employee.
