Bad weather is good weather!

Bad weather is good for different photos that is.

I will show you the beauty of birds on the beach during a rainy day!

February is our hottest month here at the Southern Tip of the African Continent, but the month has started with cold temperatures of 24 degrees Celsius. Cold here as we can go up up to 40C and much more on the very hot days.
Rain also means that beautiful grey colors pop up in the photos.

Here we had some Grey-headed seagulls (Chroicocephalus cirrocephalus) what a tongue twisting name.
But look closer at the photo, as there are two new arrivals at the back.

And another new one came flying in. They are Terns (Sterna hirundo) or (Sterna paradisaea), as we are on the Atlantic coast.

A lot more came flying in and they all took off here.

One of the terns dropped lower and I thought that he spotted a fish.

So, I followed him, but sadly he came up empty, as I would have loved to snap him with a fish.

A beautiful sight to watch the speedsters of the sea go by in flight.

Later in the afternoon the sky started to clear with moody dream clouds appearing.

And a final look at these wonders of the ocean.

Come rain, storm or sunshine, we are out there at every opportunity that we get. The beach is 6 kilometers away and the mountains are 6 kilometers in the opposite direction from our house. There is always something going on and one has to be on the ball, as every day is different.
I find photography to be beneficial to my health, as not only does it relieve my stress factors, but it also keeps me active.
The human body was not designed to sit around every day.

And that's All Friends!

Note: As usual all photos are my own and taken with a Canon SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and thank you for visiting a post by @papilloncharity
