Lucky catch for the great crested grebe

When I visit a lake where I know that there are a lot of waterbirds, I am often looking for the great crested grebes since they are one of the more beautiful and interesting birds that are here in winter at the moment. Of course now is the time of the winter guests and I am already trying to find some of them and take pictures of birds that I still don't have. But since migrating birds that are only here for a short stop are much more difficult to find and to photography I sometimes have to concentrate on birds that are here for the whole year like this great crested grebe.
