Eurasian curlew in the Meaddow

In spring 2019 I was lucky and made several pictures of the Eurasien Curlew one of my favorite birds. It is a very big Scolopacidae and the largest wader in its range. Unfortunately the birds where a bit far away and therefor the quality of the picture is not so good because i had to digitally enlarge it a bit with photoshop so it is not so small on the picture here. I hope I can take some better pictures of this beautiful bird sometime, but since they are very seldom and hard to find. In Autumn they are very good in camouflaging themself and therefor it is much more difficult to find them. So they are seldom and hard to spot and also very shy.

Next week i will visit Lake Neusiedler again and maybe we are lucky to find this beautiful bird again. I know a place where they live but the meaddow is very big and you are only allowed to walk on the walking path and not allowed to step into the meaddow to protect these seldom animals and birds. There is also a place in upper Austria where you can find this bird but when I was there I never saw it. I am so happy that I am so lucky to find so many different birds here in Austria
