Winter is finally moving away and spring is coming with big steps. The birds are preparing for mating season and I love taking some pictures in late afternoon and early evening. The light is very beautiful during this time and there is already a little red in the sky before the sunset. It is always funny to watch the tufted ducks and the Red-crested porchards diving for food in the shallow water. They Dive for some seconds and come back up shortly after. In early March there are still not so many birds here in Austria and it was pretty cold the last days.
