Right... where was I? The Gala dinner! Delicious food, great company, live music, memories and damn... it was already more than a month ago...
Time is a sucker, it absorbs your lack of focus on understanding how much these moments are important. And the moment you reflect on them again... it's already part of your history.
And because sometimes all you need is an image to get some inspiration... here is one that categorizes... the "let's get back to fun writing"!

Because when you are having fun, you enjoy stuff more...
So... this was a powerful 🚀 Rocket 😂 launching from somewhere in Europe, Croatia... Split I think! Carrying some adventurers in the hope of exploring the @hivefest Galaxy
It had two Sparkling Solid Boosters (aka SSBs) that brought the best out of this launch, carrying its payload of explorers ready to adventure the cosmos... and damn if it was an epic rocket (look at its first minutes of lunch, on the left picture).
Obviously, I was aboard this demonic machine and eventually I, plus a group of people I could not identify anymore, reached a new planet! 😁
In this new celestial body, I could not feel my weight... it was like there was no gravity.
Suddenly, I realized that the inhabitants of this new place, did have a quite interesting ritual. They would move their bodies within the spaces in between others like there was music flowing through their inner parts...
They also would use incredibly exciting lights in order to further orchestrate their own kind.
The aliens (I called them by then) came to my aid, and adopted myself as being part of them... it was imperial times! 😇
It was a magical party and suddenly I don't know what really happened... but I instantaneously teleported next to the middle of a real Imperial Army! And it almost looked like they were deceiving friendly to me as you can see in the picture above.
But it was then that they completely turned and brutally attacked me... they must have enjoyed sacking everything and everyone (including @missbitcoin-sv, because they thought she had some $BITCOIN with her 😜) they could put their hands on.
It almost looked like they knew I had special powers and didn't want my species to get further empowered (too late! 🤣).
I can't stress enough how many pictures I am missing out on between the trip to the Imperial planet and the real Imperials...
...but if you check the other people's posts on the HiveFest Community, you might understand why.
Anyhow, back to the excruciating pain caused by these Imperials, I was really a helpless prayer during that morning... if only someone would come to save the day...
It was then when a magical being appeared, shouting... "Be gone, Imperials!" - this was a #hive wizard called @roelandp with enough power to drive the Imperials away in the blink of a hand being raised, with a very strange look... eye? damn... this photo is horrible! 🤣 - sorry man!
I was saved! More wizards arrived meanwhile and I felt quite excited by the power in front of me 😈🙂...
The discussions that followed did justify in a very large scope, of "why I was saved..." but the amount of minds, talent, persistence and love for what they do, elevated my aura way above its limits.
I powered up all those discussions and information and embraced all the moments as anyone around probably did... but it felt like I would love way more.
The heat of the moment was noticeable and many posts later, people would eventually find out. And the opportunity to witness all these was something yet to make a larger difference in the future, but to what I promised myself, to continue to be a part of. Not because I had to, but because I felt connected to it. Thank you all for what you brought to @hivefest!
Yes... it ended quickly for most, but for some others... id did NOT! 😏 A new party was just getting started. And we got all a teaser of what that would probably be like.

And the fricking noise of it doesn't even make its own judgement when recorded in a video... it really doesn't. I have recorded a video too, and when I manage to post it, I will link it here.
I had a Fiesta in Portugal, but nothing compared with this... just look at that small but powerful thing... I could speak (and explore) for hours about this engine, but let's not do that today...
Yes, I enjoy cars and motorsports a lot... #F1 especially, but Rally too... Had a lot of fun while young with simulators and Rally games, with a very close friend, and those times were fricking gold.
I have eventually explored a bit more "walking" through the streets of Split... and coming back to a bit of the beginning, I have booked an interesting place further down towards this picture, which was like a place that made me feel Home again (Portugal) because of how people would rent their own apartments...
Close to where I was, there was a supermarket, and every morning (almost) I would just rush to buy some fresh bread, local butter and some smoked prosciutto with cheese for my breakfast! Hummmm it was the god's wish!
That alone was worth the place... 🤦♂️ yes, I was that hungry for home food! LOL
Along the walk (by myself) on this day after hyperventilating with the Rally car, the destination intent was to join some late-day Billiards. But before that, I was getting hungry and decided to follow @bil.prag advice and test this place for Boar Burgers... guess what?
DELiciOUS!
Damn... I am salivating tooo!!
We then hooked into the so-awaited Billiards (just next to a police station! 🤔) where I enjoyed playing against several players, such as @ervin-lemark, @khaleelkazi, @ph1102 among many others...
Among the many Billiard games, I have also played Darts with a bunch of people...
In that evening I think my right arm got a muscle upgrade! @louis88 and @rivalzzz fault mostly! 🍻
@ervin-lemark, @arcange, @detlev, @primersion and @masterswatch also contributed to my arm fortification. 😝
Speaking on tongues... who's this tongue? And just in time for #BeerSaturday! 😉 ish (I am on Sunday already)
Speaking about the place above, we have basically come back to the same place where I had my Boar burger... and what did we all do to this place you may ask #hive?
Basically show up at 10:30 PM with probably more than 30 people to this place and have dinner! A place that might probably have (guessing) 2 to 5 guests from 10 PM to midnight...
We arrived and "Destroyed" the place as it was, in "food" terms I mean... But even if the place was forced to get two more staff to help handle the job, while the cook (chef) was a fricking printing Burgers, what a great persona, the highlights of the Food Frenzy were... @crimsonclad and @khaleelkazi 😋😎 - you guys rocked a display! 🤘
After such an amount of energy, we had to put it into practice... So, a bunch of us crawled through the streets of Split, via several methods of Uberteleportation eventually ending in the Mona Lisa Club...
We made RedBull Cheers!

The night was not that long because I needed to prepare for the next morning's event... the RALLY stuff... and during the day, I had to call my troops to help me out with @forkyishere!
Because he was getting crazy with so many visions of Spiderman ducks!
I have also admired some exotic furniture I would loved to bring into NZ, but it was somehow heavy and the Store said shipping to NZ was not available. 🤷♂️
Also said hello to my friend "Drogon" (can't recall if this was really him)... Note, 39 39?, Bosanska 9... any clues?
I have enjoyed the streets of Split quite a lot... recalls me Cascais, where I am from!
We have finally made it into the BUSleportation thingy... Almost felt like touching the grass! 😏
The weather was perfect... not too warm, some clouds to shade some extra rays (in NZ this would be extra important).
After some OF the BEST Pizzas I have ever tasted, we were all trying the Hive-Powered Rally car!
This was how the Fresh Tyres ended up by the end of the day!
During the event, we also had @arcange sharing some bike experience with anyone that was keen. Quite a great treat for everyone who tried... I have enjoyed lots of seeing this kind of Hivehood!
@brianoflondon and @detlev were ecstatic with the beautiful Kawasaki!
After such an amount of adrenaline, we had to refill right? We have been rewarded with a treat like this... Looked and was DELICIOUS too...
But let me tell you... further into the night, we had a version of this (took like 1 hour to deliver almost) that was 10x THIS! Both in terms of presentation (and I know that looks quite hard) and especially taste! Shame I didn't take a picture of that one to prove you... I think @ninaeatshere was there with me once I "shouted" the "way so much better quality" (this was the later into the night "ask" about sushi and sashimi that I mentioned being really a million stars).
The next day arrives... I had to pack my huge suitcase... and bring it with me! I have cleaned after myself in the apartment and the lady who rented me the place said something like "OMG, you left the place even better than how it was when I left it to You! You are welcome anytime!" - Educated people I guess... 😉 (Dad and mom, thank you for teaching me the right way!)

@arcange checking if the cannons were all loaded! Just in case... you know... even if we had a boat loaded with pirates, enough is never enough on the Mediterranean Sea!
I know... sounds crazy... but... for me... "Cascais!" 😏🤷♂️😉😎 (people who know this city/village will understand).
The views from the boat were amazing... quite relaxing and left me with lots of moments to recall what just happened during this week.
I know this kind of view is important in your daily life (Wellington... is also a scenic place)... so, really thankful for visiting your place @lordbutterfly 😎

Different clouds...
We were sailing (this was actually @steevc hands 🙂), the #hive boat!
Eventually, we arrived at the paradisiac place!
Ignore the lack of sun... the place was Marvelous! All for ourselves... many deep dived, including myself. 24/25C water! YES!!! That warm!
We then came back to the boat and had some lunch... accompanied by the Bavaria I took onboard (without permission LOL). As the bottle says... it was IMPORTED! 🤣
We were quite comfortable, as we knew the beach was being monitored! 😎
Believe it or not, it was by this moment that I almost had tears on my face... understanding it was all almost ending... 😭
And please... don't feel I haven't valued your interaction with myself less if I haven't mentioned you here (there are SO MANY people my mind has a hard time memorising names, but I will FOREVER remember your faces - visual memory). I valued EVERYONE I spoke with and appreciated the fact that in these places we are all #hive people... like for example, @yabapmatt was there and I felt really normal having a great chat with him.
It's almost over 😭
The writing does not judge the true experience... you need to be there to find out why! I am just enjoying telling you all the story I can... Just like everybody else! We are all creating records for others to verify and curate!
By the time we have returned to Split, I have joined @lizanomadsoul for a shared Uberteleportation into the portal to madness! I have seen (like Liza has seen) tons of minions lying around the airport and potentially in need of finding out about #hive.
We have swapped HBD for careless fiat... and affirmed about #hivewoodness stuff. The Power was strong... but...

I didn't arrive Wednesday in NZ, but by the looks of it, something was really wrong while I was over through! Probably shenanigans of travelling into the future! -80 C 😱 (and this was around Germany, so probably the Alps got in the way? 🤔)
Quick exit via Germany while saying goodbye to this side of the world! I had a very good experience at this airport... Not huge, but worked very well.
Eventually arrived in Dubai... took a shower!
Then replied to @khaleelkazi, and many others by then... spoke with family... and jumped into the next one! Dubai-Melborne!

And a few days later (the weekend) I was in New Zealand... enjoying the sunshine... and doing my first @worldmappin post...
You can't really make fair on how to show you the level of fun and memories recollection I had with just this post around the experience on @hivefest... but hopefully, I could sprinkle some enjoyment of how great this was.
