I am Onos-f and in this week 145 of hive open mic, we will be exploring the theme 'Glory'. In line with this theme, I will be doing a Gregorian chant: 'Gloria in excelsis Deo' with my brother Gabriel. Gabriel is a very talented singer and he was able to sing this long Latin chnat off hand. I'm really excited making this entry with him and he is also very glad doing this song with me for this week's event.
This is a traditional Latin song used to give glory to God for his love and powerful works. This song is very traditional to the Catholic church of which I consider myself so privileged to be a member. As you listen to us sing and play the alto Recorder, I hope you derive some meaning from this entry.
