A pleasant morning to you guys. It is a new week and you know what that means, weekly prompt but there are new announcements that shouldn't be taken lightly.
First of all, we would start by saying that this would be the last time in a while that we would be announcing Weekly prompt winners as we have joined Leofinance and a host of others in the Authors of the week initiative.
What does this mean?
Read this: AUTHOR OF THE WEEK INITIATIVE
This means that every week, a selection of the best four posts in the community would be put into the spotlight (through threads) which people would be invited to vote and pick a winner on Polls. The winner would walk away as a 60% beneficiary of the upvotes given by the sponsors on the HiveNaija post. Note that these people would be selected based on their ability to be creative and articulate on posts and also their engagement streak in the community.
So the details are:
Within Monday to Friday morning, four top authors would be selected (engagement in mind as well) and then placed on a Poll on Threads in Leofinance. Another post would be made by Friday evening with the top authors announced and a link to the thread poll for we all to cast our votes. You can share with non-community members and invite them to participate in the poll as well. The objective is engagement.
The polls would run from Friday evening to Sunday and then the winners would be announced. The winner gets the prize and the second and third place gets Ecency and Dreem Tokens. However, to those who still post within the six days duration (of the prompt), you would still get curated by the HiveNaija community if you follow community and (other cases) prompt rules to the Tee.
Note that the Author of the Week Initiative is not limited to prompt submissions. It is a collection of creativity and engagement. To be selected, you must prove yourself worthy of the prize.
And now that we have that out of the way, who are the winners of the past week? The theme was I Moviestar and we had very few entries this week but it was okay nonetheless.

It's pretty tough for me to think of some movie stars who in their human character have special abilities. The old days seemed to have more humans in movies than the marvel and magicians used in most movies nowadays. So, I picked three from some old movies I have watched.
