Going back in a bit

Abuja has been fun so far but sadly, it is time to say goodbye. In a few hours, I'll be on a vehicle heading back to Kaduna with nothing but fun memories about my time here.

I'm happy I was able to get away from all the things bothering me for a few days and just enjoy myself with my friends and family.

It is true that time flies when you're having fun because the past few days just blitzed past in a flurry.

There's quite a lot of serious shit for me to do in the coming weeks, so I'm glad I got to spend this period with my friends and family. It will go a long way in keeping me focused on the task at hand, at least until later next month when I will be meeting them again.

So it is back to solitary confinement for me, jogging regularly and eating my usuals again. I didn't miss that part of my life but I'm glad I have a life to go back to.

There's been heavy downpour all morning, so we've not been able to get our things to the bus company. Donald and me will stop by at @young-boss-karin's bustop to pick her up because we're all heading in the same direction. Karina and Donald will use the same company, while I'll be stopping at a different one but in the same Utako area. Precious will be taking a different route with her uncle and so we won't link up before her trip.

When the rain stops, we'll ordered a Taxify and be on our way. I'm still nervous about my trip but then again, I'm always nervous about trips. I still hate the fact that my life is in the hands of a complete stranger for at least two hours but that's life. I hope I get a good driver and we get to Kaduna without any hitches along the way.
