“Spring Taste Horse Tails”
Spring has come!! Finally (hopefully), there is no more snow. However, we might have snow sometime. I saw dandelions and horse tails. I think I can say officially spring is here.
I missed the taste of horse tails. I made a horse tail Japanese style side dish called Tsukudani. Tsukudani is basically cooked with soy sauce, sugar, sake, and mirin. I soaked the horse tails over night before I cooked. I also put sesame seeds and Japanese prickly ash spice as seasoning. It was delicious and I forgot to take pictures. I took a photo of the leftover dish. There is only one more bite.
Horsetail is good for anti-aging. It contains a lot of vitamins. Also, has a diuretic effect and heals our swollen body condition. Anyway, I am able to eat more spring tastes soon!
