remembering how i got to know what 'boxing day' meant

Hello everybody, it's another gorgeous day, and morning is almost here. I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday. It has been fantastic the entire time, with a wonderful Christmas and an amazing day that follows. "The Boxing Day."

The day after Christmas, known as Boxing Day, is an annual festival. Before my early teens, I had never heard of a day such as that (7). Then, as I was glued to the television in the living room, the newscaster mentioned boxing. All I could think of in my trouble-making mentality was "fighting," striking blows. Lol 😆.
As I turned to watch the protective gloves on TV, I was astounded to discover stacks and stacks of treats, candies, and goodies. Until the conclusion of the news segment, I could not really comprehend what I was seeing. I didn't talk about it with anyone and maintained it to myself. The following day, in the afternoon, I overheard my aunt mentioning "Boxing Day" in telephone conversations. I anxiously waited for him to end the call before asking him to clarify what he meant by what he said.

While "boxing" didn't bother me, the adjective that comes after "day" baffled me greatly. For all I recognize, boxing is a form of combat, but it might also refer to a single battle. Well, I was going to find out.

When I approached him and inquired him what "Boxing day" meant, he dropped his smartphone and responded, "Okay, Boxing day is an international celebration that comes after Christmas day." Every 26th of December is that day. It all comes down to loving others. Granting presents and goodies is what it entails.

I then questioned him once once more regarding the connection between the designation of the day and presenting gifts. At a certain point, he explained to me that the name's "Box" standing for "present boxes" Then I recalled the boxes on the television display that I had previously seen. Lol! I exclaimed, "This is it," and he continued by saying that it originated from the custom of affluent, successful individuals and other affluent members of society giving their workers and other individuals a Christmas box filled with cash and other goodies the day after Christmas.

Dear God! I thought to myself, "Well, this must be what I've been experiencing all of the time." Christmas Day is a fantastic day that is well good enough to justify it. This unique box is required by innumerable individuals. No of the capacity of the box, today offers everyone else the chance to donate.

I have always made preparations for this day following Christmas as an adult. To celebrate the holiday of love, I make absolutely sure I have a package to distribute.

Gratitude for reading. A fantastic experience and holiday of love is what I wish for you. A happy new year to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
