Today, July 1 - Here in Canada, we celebrate Canada Day, the birth of a nation. Not a day goes by that I don't think of how lucky I am to have been born in Acadie, which became New Brunswick, Canada. I have great respect for Indigenous People and for my Acadian ancestry. However, I am always Canadian first and I fully support the many changes that are coming in making Canada the best it can be as a vibrant democracy of the future.
