Saludos comunidad de Hive, hoy quiero comentarles en mi escrito los días frustrantes que he pasado con el arreglo de la bomba de freno de mi troca, como yo le digo por cariño.

Greetings Hive community, today I want to tell you in my writing the frustrating days I have spent with the brake pump repair of my truck, as I call it by affection.

El mes pasado en uno de esos chequeos mañaneros a la camioneta me di de cuenta de una fuga de liga por la bomba y el hidrovac, decidí sacar la bomba y mandarla a arreglar, colocar sus sellos y gomas, quedó muy bien, pero al cabo de unos quince días nuevamente aparece la fuga en el mismo lugar.

Last month in one of those morning checkups to the truck I noticed a leakage of the brake fluid through the pump and the hydrovac, I decided to remove the pump and send it to fix, put its seals and rubbers, it was very good, but after about fifteen days the leakage appeared again in the same place.

Nuevamente bajamos la bomba y estaba un poco indeciso si comprar una usada en buenas condiciones o una nueva por el asunto del dinero que ando corto. Pero el mecánico me recomendó que mejor comprará una nueva porque no sabemos cuánto pueda durar una usada.

Again we lowered the pump and I was a little undecided whether to buy a used one in good condition or a new one because I was short of money. But the mechanic recommended me to buy a new one because we don't know how long a used one can last.

Tomé su recomendación y me fui de aventura a las casas de repuestos, me llevé $60, $40 que tenía en ahorro y $20 que mi hija me prestó. El día antes hablé con un vecino para que me diera la cola en la mañana cuando se fuera al trabajo, me dejó por la avenida Rivas por donde están todas las casas de repuestos.

I took his recommendation and went on an adventure to the parts stores, I took $60, $40 that I had in savings and $20 that my daughter lent me. Ni modo necesitaba más dinero, lo primero que se me ocurrió fue pedir un préstamo, me vine caminando un trayecto de dos kilómetros hasta casa de mis padres, llamé primeramente a mi hijo, pero me dijo que no tenía disponible en ese momento, que para la otra semana siguiente me podría ayudar, le agradecí su buena disposición, pero necesitaba resolver eso lo más pronto posible. Mi hermano que estaba escuchando mi conversación se ofreció voluntariamente a prestar lo que me falta, me volvió el alma al cuerpo.

No way I needed more money, the first thing that came to my mind was to ask for a loan, I walked two kilometers to my parents' house, I first called my son, but he told me that he didn't have any available at that moment, that for the following week he could help me, I thanked him for his good disposition, but I needed to solve that as soon as possible. Alex mi hermano, aparte de solventar lo del préstamo también me llevó a comprarla y pedí un descuento al vendedor y me la dejo en 90$, luego me llevó donde tenía la camioneta, nos pusimos a expurgar la bomba antes de montarla todo bien por hay, la instalamos y ajustamos, ¡pero sorpresa! mi troca no tenía freno, el pedal se le iba hasta abajo.

El mecánico me dice vamos a expurgar las cuatro ruedas, en ese procedimiento utilizamos dos potes de ligas de freno y nada que resolvemos mis amigos lectores, que frustración y agotamiento tenía con esta situación. Luego el mecánico retira la tapa del envase de la bomba nueva, me indica darle al freno y se da cuenta que la bomba tiene una fuga interna, la verdad no conocía de ese tipo de fuga.

The mechanic tells me we are going to expurgar the four wheels, in this procedure we use two pots of brake bands and nothing we solve my friends readers, what frustration and exhaustion I had with this situation. Then the mechanic removes the cap of the new pump container, tells me to hit the brake and realizes that the pump has an internal leak, the truth was not aware of this type of leak.

Desmontamos la bomba, la limpiamos y la colocamos en su caja para su respectivo cambio, el día siguiente

We disassemble the pump, clean it and put it in its box for its respective change, the next day.
