Chelsea news and transfers recap: Rudiger to Man Utd latest, Saul 'to return', Mourinho interest

Hello everyone and welcome to football.london's live Chelsea blog on Saturday. There is currently plenty going on at Stamford Bridge and we will be on hand to bring you the latest news updates and rumours throughout your weekend.

First and foremost, the takeover process keeps rolling on, with supporters still none the wiser as to knowing who will be Roman Abramovich's successor in west London. Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams could yet become investors in the Blues though in a move that has somewhat caught fans off-guard. We will be bringing you all of the developments on the takeover.Once a deal is conducted, Thomas Tuchel and his staff can then turn their attentions to the transfer market, and some deals appear to have moved forwards over the past few days. Declan Rice could potentially be on the way out of West Ham United, whilst the Blues' Darwin Nunez hopes have been handed a considerable boost.Finally, there is plenty to get supporters talking on the pitch this weekend. The battle for the top four is set to take twists and turns over the next few days, with Chelsea set to host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Gnabry seals Bundesliga crown
One of Chelsea's transfer targets Serge Gnabry could be set to arrive at Stamford Bridge with a champions medal after his employers Bayern Munich claimed the Bundesliga title today.

They edged past rivals Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in today's edition of der Klassiker, Gnabry opening the scoring. Former Chelsea trainee Jamal Musiala also found the net.Manchester United 'explore' Rudiger transfer
Manchester United have reportedly 'explored' the possibilty of signing Antonio Tudiger amid his decision to leave Chelsea.
According to The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney, the Red Devils are indeed interested but Real Madrid is the preferred destination for the German defender.

Despite having reportedly been offered the servoces of Arsenal man Gabriel Magalhaes, Barcelona are more interested in a move for Cesar Azpilicueta.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish giants see the Chelsea captain as a cheaper option with his Chelsea deal set to expire next summer.

Rudiger decision confirmed
football.london understands that Antonio Rudiger has indeed made the decision to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

The Blues did indeed make him the offer to become the best-paid player in the club's history but that does not appear to have satisfied the German who will likely be looking for new employment next term.
