The Countdown is on.

12 days until MotoGP season 2021 kicks off.

I am super excited and will hopefully be able to follow all the races.

To me MotoGP is THE MOST EXCITING MOTORSPORT OUT THERE.

Every year it is filled with unpredictable outcomes, well at least lately, after Marc Marquez injured himself in a crash in the first race of 2020 and therefor missed the entire last season.

Before he pretty much dominated MotoGP since 2013 after becoming the youngest MotoGP world champion with Repsol Honda. That doesn't mean the races were boring, unlike in other motorsports.

Clashing with the legend "Il dottore" Valentino Rossi, 46 🥳, big time in 2015.

In season 2015 # SepangClash became legendary even though it was tough to watch for Rossi fans like us.

The Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia has a special meaning to all MotoGP and Rossi fans.
In 2011 we all watched the tragic death of one of Rossis friends and Co drivers Marco Simoncelli. It was devastating to watch and because this is my intro post I will leave it like that.

But I will share the 2015 race where emotions were reaching a peak and the whole season, like the following was just a boiling cauldron.

I am not giving any spoiler alert cause you gotta take your time to watch the full 10 min. After minute 2 you will be hooked and maybe get a feeling why we admire this so much.
Watching it again my pulse is already on 100 and adrenalin is kicking in lol.

I've been following MotoGP since the early 2000s and even though I may not be the typical chatter in sports my pulse is rising when MotoGP is on.

My other half is a passionate Superbike rider. He owns the legendary Honda RC51 SP1.

This is us on one of our rides. Yeah pretty cool to be a pillon rider on a superbike.

Don't believe it's possible? Check out this. Yeah I got my own handle, just like a pro, so riding a Superbike with 2 ppl is possible. That's how you can go fast without being afraid of the pillon falling off lol ;).

Anyways, it is about MotoGP. So today they wrapped up the official tests in Qatar where season 2021 will have its first race.

Danilo Petrucci (9), an Italian rider, finished todays test with position 1. He is riding for the Tech3 KTM Factory Racing team, a french team. His high speed was 340.6 km/h (211.6 mph) today.
Followed by Stefan Bradl (6). A German test rider for Honda. He finished up with a high speed of 342.8 km/h (213 mph) and 1.275 tenth of a second from Petrucci.

This is quite impressive as he has been struggling in the past, but more with self confidence rather than abilities. But with the last season he could show his abilities by replacing Marc Marquez, who injured himself.

There are discussions running with the MSMA Motorcycle Sports Manufacturers Association if participating as a test driver in official races should be limited. Bradl was replacing Marquez in 12 out of 14 Grand Prix races last season.

Anyway, I would like to check if some might be interested in MotoGP and if so I am willing to throw some more infos and cool snippets in as season 2021 starts in two weeks.
