When you see a picture/photo, what comes to individual A's mind maybe different from what comes to individual B's mind.

Agriculture is the art or science of cultivating the ground, including the harvesting of crops, and the rearing and man agent of livestock for man use. Some countries in the world believed that once you go into agriculture, you'be subjected yourself into abject poverty which I don't believe.
Most African countries if not all embrace agriculture and it has been a source of livelihood for them. Plants planted by farmers in some African regions include:
COCOA: Cocoa can be processed to beverages, the likes of tea, coffee, e.t.c after the pod is removed and it is properly sundried.

According to study, Africa has the highest number of cocoa produced and of course Nigeria is ranked the 4th highest cocoa producing country according to google.
Palm Oil: Palm oil is gotten from palm tree. Have you heard of this fact that nothing is a waste in palm tree. You get palm wine, palm oil, shaft from palm but, broom from its leaf and so on.

You won't believe that Nigeria is also the 5th best producing Palm Oil country. source from google
Some animals reared by farmers are;
Poultry birds: They eggs layed by these animals can be sold and eaten defending on the purpose of setting up the poultry. The animals can also be eaten or sold as well.

Fish farming: One of the most profitable livestock farming is fish farming.

Though fishes eat a lot but there is high profit in rearing fish even though the farmers encounter risk of loosing their fishes through flood.
Both farmers who work to feed their family and those who work for the purpose of selling to make money are doing a great job.
Farming is not as easy as it looks. Farmers go to the farm and come across different animals which can endanger their lives. All sorts of flies bite their skin and expose them to health hazards. Some even live in hamlet instead of their home

Most times the hamlet is surrounded by bush which introduced mosquito to the environment which later lead to malaria.
