A few days ago while walking around Havana I found a graffiti that caught my attention, a gorilla smoking a tobacco, that made me curious to learn more about the subject and I took on the task of touring the place looking for more of this urban art.
Hace unos días caminando por La Habana encontré un graffiti que me llamó mucho la atención, de un gorila fumando un tabaco, aquello me dio curiosidad por conocer más del tema y me di a la tarea de recorrer el lugar buscando más de este arte urbano.
Havana has a visual richness that never ceases to amaze me, in all its corners it smells of history, and graffiti has become a manifestation that has evolved over the years, forming an essential part of the urban landscape. Today they are more than simple drawings on the wall, they have become art.
La Habana tiene una riqueza visual que nunca deja de sorprenderme, en todos sus rincones huele a historia, y los graffitis se han convertido en una manifestación que ha ido evolucionando a través de los últimos años, formando parte esencial del paisaje urbano. Hoy son más que simples dibujos en la pared, se han convertido en arte.
Honestly, I could not give a dissertation on the subject, but I found them so interesting, captivating and that contribute to the spiritual richness of our city full of contrasts that I wanted to share them with you, I hope you enjoy them.
