Thursday is Butterfly Day and Insect Day Giveaway- Week 49 - Grasshopper and termites

This week I had the visit of some special insects, I didn't make excellent photos but it's worth to bring them to this post, because of their colors and curiosity. Besides they are fun.

First I show a clever grasshopper, normally these insects are found in their characteristic "green" color, but this friend decided to carry in his body the color gold. He thinks it looks more elegant, and it does. Also according to our friend from Steemit @abneagro he explains that this grasshopper belongs to the order of "orthopters", so I think it's even famous.

When I tried to take a closer photo, the grasshopper cleared its legs and in one jump I lost sight of it.

To accompany our grasshopper friend came the "termites", also called "white ants" but they do not belong to the species of the ants, only that their habit of making colonies makes them common for them.

The ones that appear in the photos are "soldier termites", and actually belong to the order of the "blattodea" (I was studying ha ha). They usually eat the logs or the dry wood to make their houses in these places, so in a good piece of wood they have food and sustenance.

The world of these little friends with whom we share resources is still wonderful.
